excellent production...
although, id be interested in a dirty dub version, with as littl vocals as possible, maybe a few dropped in with some distortion or effects. great tune tho... sort of remind's me of the feel in James Zabiela's Remix of Virgin Souls' Personality. if you could do something with the vocals like the ones in Personality are screwed with, itd be great. |

Well, i'm working on a dub mix right now...it will be a breaks mix. THe idea with the distorted vocals is good, i already thought about it, but i have to see how far this works. Remember that i had to use original samples from the radio edit. So everythign will be distorted, not only the vocals. I have to check if this works.

Seems that every time i haven't been able to browse TA and then come back, there are loads of amazing stuff on this section.
Great work with this remix, Michael. It works very well and flows on nicely. Just like with that Echano remix as well. Both are damn amazing! I'm really looking forward that dub mix if its gonna be a breaks interpretation... :happy2: |

this is a killer remix - however, the only part from the linkin park song that works with a dance track is the melody and music from the song, the vocal actually destroys what could be a really wicked track...the only part of the vocal i might use is the "caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow"...the payoffs needs more bass too - perhaps use a trancey riff to create the chorus instead of using the vocals.
it's like 70% there.
