this is a killer remix - however, the only part from the linkin park song that works with a dance track is the melody and music from the song, the vocal actually destroys what could be a really wicked track...the only part of the vocal i might use is the "caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow"...the payoffs needs more bass too - perhaps use a trancey riff to create the chorus instead of using the vocals.

it's like 70% there.

Thanks. I'll work on it and keep you informed....

Damn, I thought the vocals worked like a charm. They give the song alot of personality even if they sound a little like pop. The way the vocals are introduced and scattered throughout the track was perfect. I don't see how the vocal destroys it. I'll listen to the dub when you make it!

Gah!!! It's in MY HEAD!@!!! :eyes:

The panning before the first verse gives me chills.

this track is definitely sick and twisted. how you tantalize the listener, promising the chorus, leaving me right on the edge ... until finally there it is.

what can i say, good work.

omg great remix..soo beautifulll

There is way too much reverb and the compressor is way too strong. I believe this remix has a lot of potential. It's going to be a terrific song if you put more work into it.

Not bad... the original Numb was one of my favourite Linkin Park tracks, and you've done a good job of creating a nice trance track out of it... I think though that it could have been a bit bigger and harder... the drums sound like a bit more oomph could be squeezed out of them, but that's probably cuz I'm used to really big synth-driven trance tracks rather than this kinda proggy stuff... though I think this is really really good and surprisingly danceable.

Why don't you try remixing another linkin park song like KRWLING?(always my favourite and probably the easiest of them all to remix)

I'll be checking out some of your other remixes too... My Immortal was kinda disappointing but that's just cuz it isn't much my style... it's still good. I like this one better though.
