bi-curious

So some of you may or may not be familiar with being "bi-curious".

Let me explain:
I can get attracted to a girl (not all girls of course) and I can kiss a girl but I don't think I'd be able to have a relationship with a girl... For me to actually be bisexual it means that you have to be able to fall in love and/or have a relationship with people of both genders.

In general I feel much more attraction to males than females, but sometimes I come across females that I just feel a strong attraction to

So are any of you "bi-curious" and have you ever acted on it??

I haven't acted on it yet, but that's because 99% of my friends are too narrowminded to understand it and it would freak them out.... :)

my boyfriend was bi-curious before we started dating, he hadn't acted on it yet but i doubt he has the same feelings now... i guess i have quite a lasting effect on him.:p

Well I have no idea as to the veracity of this statement, but I read (heard?) that females are 23% more likely to be more, shall we say, "open-minded" about their sexuality.

Personally I don't think I would ever go gay, even in experimentation, but that's because I don't like pain, and I'm male. You get the idea.

I think what it really comes down to is "Does this feel right?" And I don't mean right as in "My religious leaders say I shouldn't do this so it isn't right" or like "My peers will never talk to me again so it isn't right" or "OMFG IM SO IIING DRINK RGHT NOW ENYTHING FEEYLS RIGHT."

I mean if it feels to you that you could continue the relationship by taking another step, then yes, I don't see why you shouldn't go with it. Unless of course you'll end up hurting someone, but then you have to start weighing your feelings in comparison to the other person's....etc....

So, in conclusion, pics or STFU:D

i guess the gay thing is in now and its the hip thing (i dont got nothing against homosexuals). As for repsone to tranceyes comment about girls checking each other out, girls are jealous creatures and want to size up their competition and want to always look better than their girl friends (offcouse they dont admit it to each other) at least that goes for 90% of the girls out there.

i agree with what tranc3 said about feeling right,,, also just to let tranc3 know not all gay men have bum sex,, anyway,, what kind of friends dont support you? you should be able to be who you are and not get dogged for it... my friends all support me and its great. i know i like girls and boys,, but right now i am just kind of trying things out,, i just went on my first date with a girl friday,, and mayeb it will work maybe it wont but you should at least try... if you dont know , you should find out. i think you should also look for some more supportive friends too, its really important to have them in your life. also you dont have to be completly open about it,, if you dont want to be, i would suggest being yourself,, but i live in toronto and everyone here is pretty much gay positive so there is much less to worry about.

thanks for the responses... I'm kind of surprised there have3 been so few responses in comparison to how often this thread has been viewed, but I guess a lot of people also find this a taboo subject to some extent... But I find it part of discovering yourself in a way... nothing to be ashamed of at all ;)

Tranc3 and lipstick make some very good points, thanks guys ;)

and in response to Scarface: I don't check out other girls because I'm jealous... what kind of reasoning is that?? So the fact that I think Gisele Bundchen or Britney Spears is hot means I'm jealous?? That makes no sense at all... hahaha :p

i would definitely consider myself "bi-curious"... i actually find women MORE attractive than men, and i'm always checking other girls out, even when i'm with my boyfriend. it's a lot of fun actually, i think he enjoys the fact that we can go out and oogle at girls together. just the other night we went out for sushi and i commented to him once we sat down how i thought the hostess was super cute.

i have acted on it, but i have never had a relationship with or dated a girl. i don't think i'd be entirely opposed to the idea, if i was single of course. i like living by the idea that love is blind, and if i found a girl i was attracted to physically and emotionally, i'd give it a shot. i'm usually too shy to approach girls, and i get scared that they would freak out if i started hitting on them.

girls are better kissers, imo
