I was wondering and making some research but couldn’t find any answer on this interesting question:
What is the purpose of the female orgasm?
I mean there is a scientific explanation for every human function, including the male orgasm (its final purpose is pregnancy), but what about the female orgasm? There’s no need of a female orgasm for a pregnancy to occur, so what is its purpose?
Then I noticed there is a whole series of complex stories about how woman can reach the orgasm, things like every woman is different, some women need pressure and speed to achieve it, some others need slow and rhythmic movements to achieve it, some women have never reached the orgasm, achieving the female orgasm is an art, etc.
So there is no purpose for the female orgasm, but reaching it is 100 times more complex than the male orgasm.
That’s what makes me wonder, is there really a female orgasm? Why is it so difficult to achieve, even to the point that many of them dare to fake it? Couldn’t there be an easier explanation, like actually there’s no female orgasm? Maybe the climax they experiment is just a point of pleasure similar to the one experienced by males before orgasm, but increased and perceived by some women as an orgasm thanks to the context of the situation? |

the reason is also procreation.
when a woman orgasms her inside bits contract (sorry for the lack of biological terminology) which make her cervix dip into the area where a guy has usually left his sperm, thus helping the sperms travel up into the uterus towards the egg.

the purpose of it is so that we will actually want to you. if we don't want to then how will procreation occur?
why can't pleasure be the function?
The female orgasm is not THAT elusive. It just takes a little bit more determination than the male oegasm which is basically a given. |

well, there's no real reason for the male orgasm either. if u wanna have a child, have sex, and when u feel a wee bit of stuff trickling through ur weiner, that's the time to take ur willy out.
but, (my own wee scientific explanation), the porpose of orgasms is to provide an incentive for people to have sex & reproduce. |
