Now some people have asked where is PNG this is it . Papua New Guinea is 250 km north of the island country Australia . Papua New Guinea has been the subject of considerable negative reportage - rapes, robberies, random violence - during the last decade, much of it exaggerated. Attention has usually focused on what is loosely termed the 'rascal problem', which can include anything from petty street crime to carjacking. Though trouble is mostly confined to clans, some precautions should be taken. These include not wandering around late at night (especially in cities), dressing conservatively (this applies mainly to women), avoiding overt public displays of affection and concealing valuables. Most travellers recommend listening to local advice and, above all, making friends with the people who live in the area you are visiting. Of course, most of the problems plaguing PNG afflict other countries; the best advice is to simply use your head and take reasonable care. What is your country like

| Er.. I do. How safe is it considered for European's travelling alone? I did some travelling in Thailand alone, would you consider PNG just as safe? |

Don't take this seriously. He's not really from there. He previously had an account with the name "DJ James M" where he claimed to be from Australia and another called "Sly Dog" where he claimed to be from Christmas Islands! |

here is the tosser him self;) jail for you buddy :p now here are some pics of where PNG is   here is my brother sam  and here is my mom , sam , jense and keye my other brothers , we had to stop driving the road had washed away the road from the heve momsonal rains  :cool: :p |
