Oh sheesh...
Yes, some people are going to bash tracks. That's fine, if everyone was really "tolerant" of tracks then no one would be expressing musical taste. Here are some suggestions:
1. Don't get personally offended when some disagrees with your choice of music.
2. Don't post flames without reasons. If you say "I don't like X because..." then your post is worthwhile.
3. Don't post "OMG!" in every thread. It becomes predictable and annoying. Try adding some real substance to the discussion. |

Sometimes there just really isn't anything to say.
I've heard countless tracks that have nothing wrong with them as such, I just can't stand them for some reason. |

my take - the problem is more people getting offended when sum1 says a track they like is , rather than the other person setting out to attack them.
the OMGers are the intolerant ones, not everyone has to like so and so's tune for s sake! |

I think there is people who think like that about me - which is really pathetic.
Now I don't give about it anymore.
I like trance but not every track,so think what u want...
The real "l33ts" are people like T_2199 , arrogants who think they are better and the rest is crap...:rolleyes:
But insted of acting nice in this place you just bash all day like you're such a great producers!!! :rolleyes:
So I just try to ignore them as much as I can |

No, I meant nothing to say as in no way of explaining why I don't like something.
Besides, how is it going to change your life anyway if I say "this sucks" or post a 10-page essay of what I dislike about it?
Anyway, it's not quite what this thread was about. Saying a tune is crap just cause it's from a genre you don't like is idiotic indeed. |

Because then you at least make an effort to explain why you don't like it, instead of just spitting random "this sucks" in every thread you feel like posting in. This of course goes for all the OMG-ers as well without any info whatsoever on what actually makes them like the track. It's all about bothering to bring some constructive criticism(just "there's something about this track that just turns me off, dunn why but I just can't get myself to like this" or something similar will do plenty in your case Nik), and if you can't even bother to do that you might as well stfu. |
