i say day-ta and i just cant stand it when some ones says da-ta arhggggg sounds so stupid |

I guess depending on the native language, people who speak English as a foreign language are bound to say da-ta too, as this is how most spoken languages would pronounce it :)
I know I do because the Portuguese way to say it is da-ta, so I can't be arsed to change the pronounciation in English :D |

Yes! same with spanish or catalan. I say da-ta for the influence of my native language. |

| ahhhhhh yea i guess i was grown up saying it data but i remember when i was a kid like 5 yrs (or 8 wtf all the same :P) i remmeber how much i hated it when my IT teacher kept saying da-ta it sounds so aaaaaaaahhh hgard to explain ANNOYING! |

I say da-ta [daaa:ta], because thats how we say it in Russian. I like it that way. Just how I like to say the word "audio" a-u-dio, not o-dio. |
