I just got back Bleu. Wow! I got blown away by Ferry's set. It was sick. It was my first time seeing him spin and after this, it won't be my last.
I'm not really good at song titles, but the ones that I recognized have already been mentioned. Good song selection, but I guess Ferry wasn't anticipating being cut off. It didn't seem to me that he brought up the energy back enough at the end of the set after letting the crowd cool down.
Got to meet up with some TAs: Arcebo, dont_stop and their entourage, DJ_Bod and Detroit Rock City. Also, finally got to meet the infamous Tranceaki. Saw some other TAs, but didn't get a chance to say hi. There's still quite a few of DTAs that I still have yet to meet.
Can't wait to see Ferry again. |

| Oh shoot. Forgot about that. I got there around 9:30, so I got to hear about 2.25 hours of his set. Very nice build up throughout the set. I don't know how it started, but it was going from prog to more trance at the end and as more people were trickling in, the crowd got more and more into the set. I heard KT only once before when he opened for PVD at Necto. Both times, excellent work. It's a shame that more people didn't come earlier, they missed out on some nice music. |

i wanted to see him because he was great when he opened for pvd in ann arbor, but the club took FOREVER getting people in there was a line until 12:00 (guessing), i got in a little after 11:00 and there was still a line.
Did he play anything with more energy the ATRC and burned with desire? thats pretty lame compared to what ferry played

Thats the point bro. My job as an opener is not to nock your socks off, my job is to play a set that sets up the headlining DJ. Its the Ferry show, not the KT show.

btw i forgot to mention how mad i was before i got into the club!! i got there at like 10 something and i asked a guy where do i go if i had tickets and he told me to go the LONG LINE! so i stood there for like 1 hour!! then i see alot of other ppl going to another line! not fair so i went and asked again then he told me i was in the wrong line so i had to wait another half HOUR in the ticket line!! they need to do something about that!I FROZE MY ASS OFF!!! and i missed KT spin!! AND I MISSED FERRY when he started! |
