You forgot Robert Nickson- Spiral between those two. Armin gave me a Test Pressing from A State of Trance last time i played with him. I dont think its out till April. Check it out, its amazing. Both the original and Alucard's Starocean remix. Good stuff!

I had a good time, despite the fact that I didn't see ANY TA's.....except Trance(PL) towards the end. The dance floor was just too crowded I couldn't spot anyone, I scanned the crowd for a bit from VIP but no luck.
Ferry's set was OK....nothing amazing IMO. Thought the first hour of his set was a bit boring but he picked it up after about 1:00.
You guys should have came to the Works afterwards! Was cool seeing Ferry hang out there until about 4:30. The music was REALLY good!! |

Pvd was a bit different. I got to go to midnight where as last night i only got to go till 11:30. Ussually at a club the energy and crowd dont pick up till 11- then you have to work up the energy. You cant go from deeper trance and progressive in one track. Last night didnt get full till close to 11, at PvD, doors were at 8 and the club was full by 10. That gave me a whole 2 hours of "peak time" to travel through the music with. Last night i had a quater of that. Thats why i dont think the Headliners should be going on before 12. Its great to here them play longer sets, especially for the money these shows are costing these days, but at 11:30 when Corsten went on there were still 100 or more people coming in. When i get to a club i want to come in, get a drink, settle in, feel the vibe and then get into the show.
On that note, Kai Tracid- Concious (Corsten remix). WOW- Best Trance of 2004 so far. This one will make you cry. |

I just heard it last night when FC dropped it, I asked him 'Whats This!" Amazing. He also told me the stroy with his remix of BT- Force of Gravity- Hes the only one who has it and he wont even sign it to BT to put out- Its just something he really enjoys that he did. |

he isint?!! no way and i was waiting for it to be released! thats the best tune by far this year! his remix blows me away too bad he didnt even let it play that long last night... he shoulda played it once more for the encore :P |

Ya I was looking to score the Ferry remix of Force of Gravity...no such luck :p Now I know why :D
I got to say...I usually got to Toronto to trance out....but Detroit was way cheaper and it was just as good, if not better of a party. A lot more good looking girls at the club than at the guvernment (per say). I think my next venue is going to be Armin at Necto in May (I have exams coming up and have to prep for that). Can't believe im missing PVD :whip: :whip: :whip: It's nice to meet some new ppl, DTAs RULE :P Make me an honorary member! hahahaha... |
