How good was that?! :eyespop:
Just got home from seeing the MAN play his 5 hour set... Had a f'n great time!
Still can't get over it... Head is still spinning! :crazy:
What about when he dropped Communication?! And finishing with Airwave + many other memorable moments...
Personally think he went a bit hard in the mid-section - a few tracks that just didn't do much for me (altho the rest of the crowd didn't seem to agree) - but I guess that's to be expected with such a long set - I knew he'd get to the goods eventually :happy2:
Beautiful return for my $38 spent on the ticket...
Ahhhhhh now to face another day - 4 hours sleep + then off back into dreary old reality again... :nervous: |

WOW-WEE!!!! watta great night!! its 7:30am.. just got home.. and my ears are still ringing!! watta great first experience at Sublime!! thumping bass.. killer lasers.. and of course.. da man.. Armin!! best $40 i've spent in a long time!!
my high point was when he spun ATRC.. OMG da crowd went nutz!! wish he played it again!! satellites went off too... upstairs anyways.. but da entire set-list was great!!
but yeh Wax.. wen can u get da entire set onto TA? :D watta nite to remember!!! |

what a night it was. always wanted to hear the breaks dub of breathing live and i got my wish today. overall i loved the set and his crowd involvement. we got to get a cpl of photos with him after which was great
how badly did the crowd go nuts when jumpin jack dropped traffic. that is one killer tune

awesome night.. armin rocked sublime like it's never been rocked before, and in a way that only HE can.
moment of the night for me had to be when i heard the first note of a classic tune, so I turned to Webbie and go "Hey, isn't that 7 Cities?" and he goes "YEH IT IS!". Then... everyone goes nuts when he pumps it and Armin follows with communication (Webbie spotted that one before me). Craazzyy!!

the best part of the set for me was when he cranked urban shakedown, OMFG. Going in there tonight it was the one song i would hope he would play (recent obsession with it ;D) and he in did !!!!. I went berserk, it was such an awesome night ;)
Didnt get to meet alot of the TA'ERS, mainly because it was to loud to hear anything haha, but i did manage to find waxology up the front center (yes that was me and tathi ;D) hahah.
Unbelievable night, better than tiesto at mobile in my opinion ;D. |

Dont worry Chookie i didnt end up going,,, was a crap night for me,, all my friends sudenly decided they wanted to go to the brookly bar (which was DEAD) and then they had 2 leave the city early so i ended up VER dissapointed !!!!!!!! :nervous: :nervous: :( Someone hold me,,, looks liek ive missed the best night of my life :( |
