to be honest (and i never thought id be saying this), im glad it is a 21 and over event....and crobar is really is vigilant about not letting younger people in, they want an older crowd...and forget about wearing sneakers and UFO's and bringing glowsticks, they will laugh at you...save that attire and those accesories for loft parties...and so many people are going to bitch about it....but S&D draw a really good crowd of really cool people usually in their mid twenties...anyone who went to avalon can recall how much better the crowd was when it is 21 and over!!

not that i dont love you all, but some TA's are really ridiculous and young and these people make me want to puke when im at the roxy tryin to enjoy pvd and i feel like im at a skatepark rave. So I hail Crobar with the 21+ policy and the dress codes to keep riff raff out.

i know this sounds so rude, but read it twice im seriously not tryint to be a dick, im just not beating around the bush...

hmmmm, i didnt really care for the crowd at times during NYE at avalon, i dont know if it was the age thing or avalon in general, that was my first time there. i always thought the vibe at arc is great! and that place is 18 and over, (maybe the 18 people are more mature) so age doesnt really bother me at all. at roxy there are a few that do the glow stick things and stuff but i dont know if that is an age thing. i am not a big fan of them, but i can just ignore it. i am there for the music.

i dont really think that music has an age limitation; if there is a crowd that strictly is there for the music, then age doesnt have a number.

it really sucks if you are under 21, but they will just have to wait i guess. i dont mind the age thing doesnt apply to me, so i can go.

hey ish all good...everyone's entitled to their own opinion and all...

iono i have to differ in my opinion cuz i love the scene...see im 30 and i wasnt even part of the scene at its peak a long time ago...but im having a blast and i love wearing UFOS and stuff...and seeing ppl exhibit madd skills wid their sticking...concerning the clothes...its easier to st0mp in, which i do so joyfully...its just madd comfy and ive gone to PVD jus hung out in my circles and clubs so big neway most of the time i dun even see the really young kids...then again most of my frns are 21-28 so...id rahter see ppl comfy and having a GREAT time in kicks and UFOS then ppl trying to HOOCH it up in the so-called dress code like what i saw at AVALON OMG leave that to the hiphop parties yO so pretentious that's what i dont need

PLUR..its all about the vibe, the music...the attitude...and music unites us all...forgetting age, creed...and age def doesnt matter...

hey if there are stupid ppl in the crowd ill ignore em or move away but ive met and talked with enuff koo pplz at parties in all age groups (the youngest 16, the oldest 41)i jus think its great...

hahahhaa f0r reals! :P NYC definitely neeeds more refined clubbers by enforcing dresscodes and 21 and over policy (even this doesn't really help much as there are some old people who behave like crap)

personally i must say Crobar Miami is one of the best clubs I've been to. Clubbs are cool, always a great time; plussssss the girliess are fine as heaven! *G* :D :D :D :D :D

Space is also great, especially for the educated clubber :p :happy2:
