On the rotary version, the faders turn clockwise/counterclockwise; on the standard version, the faders slide up and down. :tongue3
Seriously, though, rotary faders are preferred by housier DJ's because they are perceived to be smoother. I don't think trance DJ's are quite so religious about their faders. |

The Xone92 is officially my next mixer to get.... as soon as more cash is flowing in... I'll put my VMX300 aside easily for this thing...
I'll prolly take the fader version just b/c I'm used to it. |

| As a matter of fact I waited for this mixer to come out before I solidified my decision on getting the Xone:62. Think about it, what are you paying an extra $600 for? Pretty lights? Please! The :92 doesnt impress me enough to actally put out an extra $800 on the mixer - I paid $800 for my new Xone:62. ;) |

i think you need to go and read up on what this mixer can actually do. It's so much more than a mixer with filters.(xone 62). |

| Like the Xone:62 is "just" a mixer with filters. I own a 62, and frankly I follow Vlad here. The 92 is a great mixer, but not so great I'll throw my Xone:62 immediately in the garbage bin and run to get the new one. In my opinion, the high price difference is not justified (they also offer a 200$ rebate if you return the 62. Please, like it's only worth that). |

The right reason to buy the Xone:92 is because it has one VCF and LFO for each side of the crossfader. Now if you don't need or want that, you should stick with the :62, but to say that the only extra features of the :92 are pretty lights is pretty naive. |
