The Melbourne Shuffle and other regional dances
View this Thread in Original format

I've seen the Melbourne Shuffle, and after practicing a bit, I guess I'm doing something quite similar to what it should be (of course not being a Melbournite nor ever visiting Melbourne in my whole life makes it a bit harder to master the moves), but it's all good once you get the hook :)

And I was wondering: Melbourne became famous worldwide because of its shuffle, but surely other cities also have their own styles (I've heard of the Toronto spin, although I'm clueless of what it is; and the Vancouver hop, which is similar to that jump-and-duck Russian dance in some way). So, what other regional dancing styles do you know of?
