The Sevillian player is the second most expensive spanish player signing after Mendieta (Mendieta non vale una peseta! :stongue: )
It seems that the Premier League is advancing the Spanish and Italian league, if we think in the good players you have, equality between clubs, etc. For me Premier is the best football league atm.
Anyway, good investment signing Reyes! Good luck with him, |

Star Reyes winging his way to Highbury in £20m switch
Jose Antonio Reyes will seal a £20m switch to Arsenal which will hand his beloved club Sevilla a "good payday" and resolve their cash problems.
The Gunners swooped to sign Reyes in a transfer deal which will bail out Sevilla from their cash crisis and deliver the Spain winger to Highbury.
The 20-year-old admitted that talks with Arsenal "happened so quickly that it seems like a film'' after putting the finishing touches to a deal which reportedly could be worth more than £20m to Sevilla.
Seriously, for those in the UK who do't follow La Liga, Arsenal have signed an amazing youngster who will be a world star very soon
Saw him vs Real Madrid for Sevilla and he took the piss out of figo with his skills & megged him, imo a better player than Cristiano Ronaldo and wow is all i can say |

Don't want t sound to biased, but he definetly is a great player as he showed at Sevilla. The thing is that he is young and at his age players are always inconsistent, so to Arsenal fans, give the kid time.
BTW, it's also interesting to seemoney splashed on someone that will come in to play and NOT for the jersey's. Even still the money is a bit f*cked for a prospect.... imagine how much Torres is going to go for:rolleyes: |

Don't worry ;), we know how it works. I remember a young kid named Thierry Henry who needed almost half the season before scoring his first goal for us a few years ago. Since then, I'd say he's been pretty good.
Honestly, I've never heard of this guy, but by the way you guys are describing him, Arsenal has just made quite the coup. Excellent :D |

Yup Henry started his, what we now expect from him, prolific goalscoring against Derby, in January. Ever since then he has not stopped!
Reyes is a brilliant player. He is still young and is already playing at such a high level. Premiership starting to get even better, but just a shame that the top three are running away with it, i hope that changes!
Oh well, i want Arsenal to win the league, COME ON!!!! |

Well he was nominated the best junior player on the world few years ago so...
Also he has been sub21 international with the selection many times, and recently he was selected for playing in the absolute selection. |
