this is EXACTLY what i don't want in a club. i prefer to have a "mere" dj playing and people enjoying the set. for me, it's all about the music, i don't go to see dancers and be entertained by anything other than the beats. and if the music can't entertain me, then i'll go to the THEATER.
knowing that crobar has these other performances is the only thing that makes me a bit wary about going to it. |

| Now I've never been there, but am I the only one who thinks that Crobar sounds like it'll be just a pretentious as Avalon? Enough with the dress codes, 21+, etc etc. All I ask for is a place that's ALL about the music, and absolutely indifferent to what the clientele is. Throw a ing party in a sewer for all I care - just give me an awesome DJ (Sasha:)) and cool people, there's my vibe, and I'll be happy. |

OK Ive changed my mind...
I hope Arc does stay open, so that all of the losers (not everyone, just the certain highh-school rejects who make the ridiculous comments here) those specific people need a place to congregate so they dont muck up and candyrave our good clubs.
Thank god there are SOME cool people on here, but they are few and far between....the losers are the halitosis that runs rampant on this forum... |

| hehe my only reply.. each place has their own characteristics for which i give them props. roxy only cuz it's so big (phazon's awful tho). arc just because people come to get down regardless of the dj and really appreciate the music. avalon because it's so glitzy and has brought in really good djs recently (not sure if half the people there know who's spinning on a particular night). haven't been to crobar yet but i'm sure i will. but each has its own place in my heart, and each has their faults too. definitely no reason to on them all as a whole or to on their patrons cuz they love the place. just my piece :) (i prefer arc over the others btw, but i still love them all) |
