Yeah, I must say that I see no merit in cheating at any point in College/University. You're paying to be there, and how successful you will be later in life depends on your skills aquired. I'm not defending my cheating, because I couldn't care less. What the is OAC Accounting good for if you're studying music?
But basically, it's selling out. Ah well. |

use your TI (texas instruments) 82 or higher calculator to store valuable equations and info into the memory. unless the teach makes you clear the memory before the exam - very unlikely at the college level, not usefuly unless you need your calculator either.
otherwise, make it a routine to bring your bottled water to class. make sure the label stays on the bottle at all times. then one day, when you have a test, take a piece of paper small enough to fit behind the label. write your cheats on it, and place it behind the label when the bottle is FULL. You will not be able to see the chets through the bottle and the water. During the test, drink the water just low enough for the water level to be below the label, and your cheats. The cheats can clearly be seen, by you, through the clear plastic bottle.
take bottle with you - DO NOT DISCARD in the classroom trash can;)
try at home before you bring to class.
enjoy.

Cheating? I don't think there are many people who didn't cheat at least once in high school....everybody does it.
Methods for cheating:
* Writing notes/quotes/formulas on your hand, arm or leg
* Taking a peek at somebody else's paper
* Whispering answers (very risky, must have ignorant teacher)
* Hiding notes inside pencil case
* Getting the answers off someone in another class who did the same
test
* Writing notes on the desk before the test starts :haha: :haha:
I have heard of more extreme cases of cheating like sneaking into the exam room and taking the paper before the quiz/exam....
hehe those were the days..... |

We had to use TI-83's at school, and for every subject apart from maths they made us clear our memory. At uni we are not allowed to bring any calculator that allows you to enter text. |

Proud to have enough balls? I can't believe you said that, it's laudable at best. |
Yay a fallacy of presumption!!!
Anyway if we're talking about cheating, my advice is to not have any evidence with you when you're doing it at university. So if you get cought you have a better chance of proving you didn't do it.
Wear a baseball cap with the vozor somewhat low over your face and sit next to the wall in your lecture hall next to your friends or next to some really nerdy people.
Now tilt your head so that the vizor is covering your eyes from the TAs.
Meaning if you shouldn't be able to see a TA's face in this position, especially easy because you only have one direction to worry about.
Now hold your head still and only swivel your eyes to look at another person's paper (dont move your body because movement draws attention).
Make sure you listen for TAs movement, you don't want someone coming up behind you on the wall side and catching you. |

lmao at all the anti-cheating moralists :stongue:
seems like you people in america/canada/australia/big countries take college/university 30 times more seriously than us
i don't really cheat, not cause of the morals, but cause i'm a bit too afraid of getting caught, and cause i'm not good at cheating anyway. but if i get the chance, why not?
you go to a exam when you haven't studied enough. you get the chance to look at someone who has the right answers, will you not take it cause you feel you need to learn the hard way? please :haha: |

You got a point here. I admit to cheating at times at uni, I did the same at high school and before. People do that just to help them pass the tests/exams. I usually write myself little paper sheets with things before and write things off them when the teacher isn't looking. Once I was said to be a very clever person because I managed to cheat even at most dangerous teachers who knew most of the ways. |

| Here if they catch you cheating, they just throw you out and discard your exam, but you're free to come back next time the exam takes place. But cheating at uni level is not really like cheating in high school, because you really do have to know the subject you're taking the exam on, and a cheat sheet is only some sort of a reminder. But we also have oral exams, so even if you manage to cheat on a written exam, once you get to the oral part you do have to know the subject. |

I have it exactly the same as you. At oral exam cheating is possible only when you're preparing in one room and the examiner is asking others in the other one, but that hardly ever happens. |

so far no methods impressed me :- :tongue2
heres wat ive been upto
1) my fav method has been to leave a friend the textbook or notes for the exam i am taking and if i dont know nething then i just sms him the question and he tells me the answer ..
2) Ask the teacher for a restroom break and then run to the lab to look up the slides
3) Write down the questions u dont know on a piece of paper request a restroom break and go down to the department and get the question solved.. this works best for those bastard math papers
now go get those A's |

Those could never work.
SMSing a friend the question? Obviously phones, etc. are banned from exams. Asking for a break and then running to the lab/a friend to get answers? Not likely. Here you get escorted by an invigilator to the bathroom and then back to the exam room. So unless you know a friend who can give you all the answers you need in about thirty seconds and hide in a bathroom stall for three hours (make sure you know which bathroom they'll take you to, also) you're out of luck. What kind of schools do you guys go to? :o |
