| I just saw this survey in the latest Mix Mag. Kinda funny. Guess who are the biggest pill mongers...England? Nope, they came in Second, but it is Australia that has the highest rate of pill consumption. Ireland came second and England third, America was sixth. The total number of countries included in the survey were 14. The thing I don't get is how Canada ranks ahead of Holland, the country where 75% of the worlds supply of E comes from.:eyes: :wtf: I also find it interesting how the States, with it's draconian drug laws ranked ahead of many other countries with "lax" laws. Oh well, it's a UN survey, who knows the accuracy. |

I don't believe a thing this survey says. When I lived in England, I had a lot of Aussie friends and they used to tell me that the pills in Australia are the best they have done compared to any other place in the world... and they should be since they spend an average of 40-45 aussie dollars on each one. Contrast that with England where the average price for a pill is about 3 pounds (7 canadian dollars). I'll let you do the math and tell me if it adds up.
Furthermore, in London alone, its estimated that there are 1 000 000 pills taken each weekend! Its simply ridiculous.
I would be interested to see how they came up with these numbers.

not surprised at all by the ireland ranking considering how cheap pills are here.
Ireland's drug usage is on the rise... and unfortunately, it's not just E :( |

| I'm not too surprised about Holland at all...When i was there a month ago I realized that most of the drugs are consumed by tourists who think they are going to some drug paradise...the locals are totally easy going and I found most of them at Innercity to be totally sober...it's the tourists on the other hand that go all out :). Besides Holland is a pretty small country... :) |
