College? + Degree?

| i was just wondering where some of you went/ or are going to college, and what your goin for. me, i just finished at SCCC on li, and got my AS in radio/television production... what about u guys???? |

| Right now Im in a Comm. Coll. just earning credits, than I plan on transfering to Columbia University and enroll in the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program. Once I complete this - This will be my crossroad where I decide whether I want to persue DJing or I want to persue medicine. I assume it will take me appr. 3 years from now to complete that program, so with appr. 3 years of practice on the turntables I will be able to solidify my decision. If I go with the music, hopefully within 3 years, I would have gained some recognition within the NYC area with some promoters and hopefully some friends will help me out when I start out. If I persue medicine, I will go to graduates school where I will study for a PhD in Radiology (which takes not 1 but 2 certifications from 2 different boards of medicine). |

| good luck with the music part V... but either way both those jobs are cool none the less... i also forgot to add that im goin to SUNY OSWEGO this comming fall to finish my BA... yeah im looking forward to freezing my white ass off up there haha... i was looking into brooklyn college also, who knows.. |

| Well im out this semester, but I only have left a few credits to finish my AS in science. Then T plan to major in physics with a minor in math at brooklyn polytech. |

i did a lil time at cuny i was a business major, felt it was not for me
i transfered to institute of audio research. graduated 3 weeks ago
now iam interning at a record label and interning with an up and comming artist trying to get her more to the public but not overboard like a brittney spears |

| Yeah, I go to Scruffolk Community too. But I've pretty much been taking core credits for the past 3 years that I can use to transer to a 4 year old school. I'm at that point where I don't know what to do. I'm considering 3 very different career paths, but it's very difficult to decide on one. I want to go into Music Business, which my wife tells me I'd be awesome at, there's Graphic Design which my parents tell me I'd excel in, and then there's Interior Design (yes, you read correctly) which I've recently gotten into. What to do, what to do... |

| A couple of accounting courses never hurt anyone. I advise everyone to get some type of degree, even if it's a two-year community college degree. Don't drop out. Remember it's the music business. Which word has more letters? |

LOL actually no. When it came to decorating and , like my apartment for example, people always told me that they liked the way I fixed things, and that I had some good taste. So then someone suggested I should do it for a living, and I took it into consideration. |
