Well I certainly hope that you would create tax cuts for DJs... i.e. none!

He along with Bush did get rid of Sadam, that much is true. But even the right thing can become the wrong thing if you do it for the wrong reasons.

Politicians on all levels, council to EU no longer have the interests of those who put them there at heart. It all seems to be about the sort of tax breaks you can create for yourself and so on...

I hate the focker, mainly because you see him squirm so badly anytime he gets confronted by real world people and he doesn't have anything prepared.
His wife is a nasty bitch too...

If Blair didnt support Bush for war, the UK will get flamed like France and Germany did.

I'm thinking of going into politics at some point in my life, as well as buying a microwave meal for 99p from sainsburys to have as my second lunch

mondays rock at sainsburys, it's the day they sell all the food that's been stuck at the back of the compartments for equally extortionate amounts as their normal stuff :p

im not a great lover of tony blair, but i wouldnt go as far as saying he is a bellend. i have respect for him because he always sees things thru to the last. he had the bollocks to not resign over things when some of his predesessors (and hopefull succesors) may have done.

the truth of the matter is that people dont see the wider picture enough. forget WMD, even without them there are many reasons to have outed saddam.. the constant threat to iraq's neighboring countries, the constant threat to the kurds & shi'ites, the bad that the people of iraq had to put up with for decades, not to mention the breeding ground for terrorism in general throughout the country.

regarding taxes, in order for this country to grow and be stronger, we do need to raise taxes because as we get technologically, economically and educationally better, we are going to need more and more money to plough into these areas. money does not grow on trees, so in order to try and keep everyone happy, tax must go up. nobody will miss an extra quid per year out of their wagesplus when we are more technologically, economically and educationally advanced, we will all get paid more.

there are so many things that the government have to spend money on like trains, hospitals, schools etc.. this is why people always moan. which is why i support university top-up fees as it means the people wjho go to university will get a much better education then the people who went to university 5 years ago, and i feel it would be unfair to take this money from general taxation, as not everyone goes to university.

the truth of the matter is, no government will ever be able to rule the country without people who winge. take a look at this country 10 years ago, and take a look at it now. say what you want but i reckon they havent done a bad job at all considering what they had to start with.

id argue that, althought my proof is an article printed in todays sun, and should be taken with a pinch of salt, although it claims to have been done by someone other than the sun, i dont think tax's need rising, thats just an easy option, instead a review on what gets spent on what. if u read the article, and the on the right, it points out what gets wasted on what. granted it may need sweatening with salt, but i cant be that far off.
