you know what I thought to the first edits mate, the string esp is so delicate & almost cry-worthy on headphones let alone on a big system, so if its finished off that good, two thumbs up from me :D

This is really nice once it hits the breakdown. Good work! ;)

your sound needs some polishing, don't hate me for saying this but it sounds still amateur, but the arrenging its very nice, plus the way you put the teardrop melody it's very good.

sorry if i come strong but teardrops is one of my alltime favorites and this is the first time i see a remix, i have it on repeat for the fifth time, ;)

keep up the good work.

to be fair this is exactly what Mike needs to hear, to be able to find out what people think & to take the advice given, it wasn't 'harsh' at all imo

Yup ur spot on ian it is wot i need to hear. glad mart and mastercongo liked it overall :D

mastercongo, wot do u think needs improving to remove the amateur feel it has? i know the intro and outro and wank in both terms of melodies and arrangment. but is there anything else i should particulary seek to improve? the percs, the bass, the synths? or is it just an all round polishedness needed?

all criticism is very welcome as its the only way i will improve :)

u know wot i think mike, some very nice ideas used and i really like the track as a whole. u just need to make that little extra effort with the polishing off of each element used :)

P.S. Im a nob :D

This is good stuff! You've definitely got some good ideas. Breakdown sounds fantastic, and you have made good use of effects too.

I think the bass could maybe be a bit 'fuller' sounding. No idea how you would do that though... :conf:

I liked it but it just sounded to amateur for me, sorry.

Sounds pretty good. I have two main negative thoughts though: I think the bass sounds a little thin, and some of the upper eqs are a little too crisp or sharp and could use a filter or something. Hope it's of some help.
