Victoria Yeeros, cnr of Victoria Rd and Marrickville Rd in Marrickville. Absolutely sensation kebabs - mostly meat and a bit of lettuce/tomato/onion/hummus, not the other way around like most kebab places. One of the best in Sydney.
The one Xavier mentioned on the Hume Highway near the corner of Stacey St in Bankstown also do awesome kebabs.
Can also recommend Mezze Kebabs in the Forum Building at St Leonards - very tasty stuff.
The guy with the portable BBQ outside the Kings Cross Hotel = food poisoning central, avoid at all costs (though I'm sure the alcohol in your system will kill whatever bacteria is in the food :o).
If you'd prefer Turkish Pizza to a kebab, head for Enmore. Topkapi and Saray both make brilliant Turkish pide, Sarays are probably one of the best in Sydney.
Though for 3:30am food, you can't really go past Harry's Cafe de Wheels in Wolloomooloo - nothing better than being completely trashed in the middle of the night and eating a massive pie covered in gravy and mushy peas  |

Undoubtedly best kebabs in Sydney by a long shot !
White Heaven Kebabs, King Georges Rd, Wiley Park. (about a 2 min walk from my place and thank god for that)
but definitely can't go past Sydney Kebabs on the Hume Highway. I have never had a bad kebab there. Very consistent and extremely tasty ! |
