Well I was thinking about this lately.

Just curious to see what you guys think.

A lot of Trilogies are just finishing up now but some arent quite complete. I hope that the following come in DVD 3 or 4 packs. what d'yu think?

Movies

American Pie
Tomb Raider
Lord of The Rings
The Matrix

TV shows
========

Friends... 9 pack?
Simpsons... 9 pack?

Becker... pisses me off how most good sitcoms arent on DVD
Just Shoot Me... "
Seinfeld... "

For sure LotR will come in a box set, considering they've released each seperate movie twice to date! The money they're pulling in from DVD sales must be immense, and it's far from over.

yeah it'll probably come with an bonus features disc  and they'll charge an extra 20

No no, the extended editions of the first two already came with two bonus discs so the full set should be complemented by at least six extra feature discs, I figure. And one dedicated entirely to candid footage of Peter Jackson laboriously counting his money.

...I'd still buy it.

hehe yeah,

I wonder if there will be a short documentary on why Frodo is gay.

It'll probably be like 1,000 hours of extra footage...i'll watch some of the bonus features on DVDs occasionally but some DVDs come with like 200 hours of extra footage...who would actually watch all that stuff?

They're called "boxed sets" btw, not three-packs. ;) I hope they make a boxed set of American Pie, I don't own any of the movies but I'd like to own them all. I've been waiting for a boxed set of it actually.

The LotR "Special Editions" with the bonus footage are actually worth it though. I think each movie has like an extra hour of movie footage that was taken it. Stuff that went into too much detail and wasn't really needed to get the whole concept of the story.
