How can Bush call himself "compassionate?" Far worse, I lost two of my sons in Bush's evil war in Iraq. They gave their lives for their country, and for what? So that Bush's oil buddies can get rich. My pain of losing my sons is indescribable.
While it is trivial next to the loss of my sons, I regret to say that I also lost my home. I simply have nothing left. How can Bush call himself a Christian when he neglects people like me? I am a senior citizen with various medical problems. I'm not in a position where I can begin a new career. I was reduced to the point where I had to live in a hole in a ground, all because of President Bush.
And when the authorities found me there, did they have any compassion for my misfortune and ailments? No, I was arrested. Mr. Bush, I dare you to look me in the face and tell me you are a compassionate man! I dare you to look me in the face and tell me you are a Christian. If I had any money left, I would donate it to the Democrat Party.
If Al Gore had been elected in 2000 I would still have a job, a home, and most importantly, my dear sons!

| Man dude your a homo, woopty do he got a DUI. Many prominent people in society get them. Just because he gets it dosent mean he is un qualified for the job. And all that other stuff you could have easliy made up and if you didnt then dont bother telling us unless you have pages upon pages upon pages of evidence. |

What a great argument in defense of Bush! Way to go dude! You clearly show the intelligence of Bush supporters! :rolleyes:
All those statements can be backed up with news facts. I'm sure he can post them in the future, but you could also enlighten yourself and do your own research on the man you support. |

Actually "all" those statements (with regards to the resume) cannot be supported and in fact, a large number of them are blatant generalizations or misrepresentations of the facts. As imrokuok pointed out:

It's conservative yes, but it actually uses evidence and sources to back its claims. Something the resume completely fails to do which automatically destroys any credibility it may have as a tool to educate the uninformed citizen. |

Actually, all of them can be supported, it just depends on what sort of bias you hold and where you get your information. Here's something worth reading if you ever have the dosh...

Ok so support them.
And while I admit that many of them depend on the bias one holds, let's try to adhere to a moderate, objective bias when utilizing sources. |

Last I checked most people were readily willing to concede that Michael Moore was largely full of , at least up to his nipples, if not moreso. He has been discredited numerous times on this board and elsewhere as he tends to misrepresent facts. If you're citing Michael Moore as factual evidence, you're doing yourself a disservice. |

And this evidence is not available online? Only through the words of wisdom of michael moore? I'm sorry but the credibility of Moore when it has come to accurate portrayals have been damaged numerous times already. So I just provided a source criticising the resume and my arguments are directly in front of you. Care to point out the falsehoods in the arguments that they are making? |

This is my first day posting on the TA political forums, so you'll have to excuse me if I don't know of any drama that has long since been gone. Regardless of whatever has been argued previously, the truth is still the truth. If the entire world took a vote on our candidates for 2004, Bush wouldn't even get 5%. The only people who would support him would be Republicans and the few outside the right wing who plain refuse to vote Democratic.
Whatever you think of Michael Moore is irrelevant. He presents facts in a different light. Yes, they're shocking, but they're true. Clearly, one could argue what he stands for, but by doing so you're defending his enemies. Have you ever even looked to see who his enemies are? Maybe you're one of them?
If you wish to see more Americans die in tne name of peace, by all means vote for Bush - Turbanator-2004!!!
