I like the black ones but I have silver ones. The silver is a much more retro sort of feel. All it needs is some wood panels on the side and it is 1978 all over again :crazy:

An overpriced limited edition which you can still buy in shops today in the MKII format as they didn't sell all of them.
I know it's all a matter of taste etc so I know not everyone agrees with me... I just think they look horrible that's all.

| Silver was what I have because the guy on ebay happened to like silver I guess ;). I think they look cool either way, but silver just seems more proper for some reason. |

| The black ones are way better looking imo. The only time I think silver tts look good is whenthey match the the mixer. For example a pair of stanton 100's with a stanton mixer that is silver... |

| I would have to say the black ones, I love mine, although when super clean the silvers look awesome, but hey aslong as the deck works, who cares? |

It doesn't matter, all Technics SL1200s are beautiful!!!!:toocool:
But i like black over silver, cuz it matches with the other parts of my installation. (Not that I have got these baby's, I have SL23s) |
