You can buy these things that go over them so you can basically get any color, store near here had blue, yellow, red, white.
I personally think black looks the best, throw in a blue LED kit and you have me pretty darn happy.
plus, you can trick people into thinking you have an mk5

Perhaps I have missunderstood you, but there seems to be this idea that MK5s have blue LEDs on these forums... which is not the case. They look like the usual Techs unless they have been modified by the owner.

I think that is because the target light, and the extra lights near the pitch control are blue on the MK5G (the only one worth getting imo.
the strobe led is still red though, which is kinda lame. |
