Man Utd did not show why they were champions...poor finish, crap defending and loss of concentration...are these qualities of champions? Man Utd should have scored about seven goals. Lately they have been relatively poor IMO, games against Southampton, Newcastle and Everton, you were extremely lucky to get any points and you lost to Wolves. I think though that this is your bad spell that most teams go through and it is to be seen whether Arsenal will get a bad patch this season, we will see.

Arsenal for the championship btw!!!

Depends on how you look at it.

Some might say that it is a sign of champions that they can still grind out results, even when not playing well.

;)

They are definately missing Rio Ferdinand, before his ban it looked as if him and Silvestre had built up a good partnership. The back four look very shaky now. Could cost them the title. Henry, in currant form would rip them apart.

Man city came from 3-0 down to win 4-3, that is not a sign of champions, it is a sign of determination. The way the premiership is going at the moment, it seems no one can beat Arsenal yet, but everyone has a chance against Utd. Chelsea are yet to play both of them and have a great record against Utd at Old Trafford. I can not see anyone else but the Gunners winning the title this year.

Man Utd's ability to win games they should have drawn and draw games they should have lost IS a sign of champions. You only need to look at the last decade to see that.

Don't think we will agree on this though. ;)

Agreed.

Although the same was being said last year, it is very difficult to see anyone else winning it at the moment.

However, with Utd being only 2points behind (IF they win Wednesday night) and playing so much worse than Arsenal, there is some encouragement.

Lol i don't think we will, i just can't see what this has to do with being champions because it is apparent in the whole league. Like Leeds last night for e.g. were at 1-1. Now u think of the confidence of their team, and to win 4-1, that is on par, or great than man utd win at the weekend. Everton to be honest were at defending, and Van Nistelrooy should have scored a hat-trick.

True, you have to admire Utd because Arsenal have not lost a game and are breaking records left right and centre, yet the day arsenal do lose, and utd win, takes united top. I just believe that now Rio is suspended, Man utd are too vulnerable at the back and can not win the league. Next year i think Chelsea will surpass them but not this year.

See Henry has turned down a move away from Arsenal and scored his 100 goals....they're on fire!! lol

Nice to have a debate that doesn't descend into a slanging match! ;)

I dislike Arsenal alot, but they do have the best team the league, and THE best player (probably in the world) in Henry. I hope he breaks his leg(s)! ;)
