Maybe somewhat late, but look. You make tracks that are released worldwide and played by the biggest DJ's in the world and you don't expect any criticism(founded or unfounded)? Welcome to the real world. As i've said before, learn to deal with it now or learn to deal with it later, but it's never going to go away. No matter how many times you whine about it on TA.

Maybe you should make some forums of your own and moderate it so that everyone on it praises every one of your works aka. Tiesto.com.

Harsh? Maybe...but you need to wake up. You're in the wrong profession if you can't take some criticism, objection, and outright insults from people you don't know and never will know.

To summarize...don't take it so damn personally.

Yeah I'd be pretty pissed off too if someone was judging and saying very negative stuff about my work before they even had a chance to check it out. Maybe you oughta read the past topic posts a little more carefully.

Back to the topic. I got a chance to listen to both the original and G&D remix. I like the original a lot better. As said before, there's just more emotion and power felt in the original. I don't really care for the vocalist in this song but A&B's mix made it tolerable. I've listened to G&D's remix about 5 times and it still hasn't grown on me much. The beat doesn't appeal to me, however I kinda like the dubbed version. I think this is probably their worst remix IMO but I know they'll make better stuff in the future. Every great D.J. always has a couple of flops down the road. This is just one of them in G&D's prestigious career. I'll be looking forward to the next remix they make.

Original version: 7.5/10
Gabriel and Dresden remix 5.5/10
Gabriel and Dresden Dub 6.6/10

Another stunningly great G&D production, and that in itself is a high accolade! The Production build is perfect imo, they use the vocals the best out of any of the mixes, i could go on... but no point, we know this is amazing!

I really didnt like this track at first, odd for me when it comes to G&D. but its really grown on me, and now I love it

that rarely happens with me

I think if they removed that "uhh-uhh-uhh-uhh" from the beginning of the vocals (the first thing you hear from the vocalist), then it would sound much better

:)

just my $0.02

Use Goldwave to trim, add/delete effects to your taste. I always trim off lengthy leads in, fadeouts.... I trimmed this one as well!
Just my 2 cents.

BAH!! all u idiots who are bashing this song really have no idea. i heard armin about 2-3 weeks ago when he came to new york and he dropped this tune near the beginning. i'm sure on all your ty laptop and computer speakers this track sounds mediocre and boring. even on my computer (4.1 surround w/ big sub) it sounds ok. inside that club however, this track is just ridiculous. crazy production. most of you people who bash tracks are only listening to ty quality rips etc. u have to experience these tracks inside a club and then u'll understand why they were made. msg to dave dresden: the remix u guys made is quality. plz come back and post some more! ignore these fools!

*edit*

honestly, how many of you who think this track is "unoriginal", "simple", "boring", or a "flop" have actually heard this being played out? i'm sure there are a couple of you who have, but the majority i'd say have only heard their mp3 that they got off of dc++ or soulseek.

Yup, I have, and I still think it's mediocre, overrated and overhyped! :)

Way Out West: Mindcircus (Gabriel & Dresden remix)
Now THAT was a genius remix, I wonder if they'll ever be able to make another remix that tops this one...
