Yes, my man Gary Johnson the Governor of New Mexico! I've been a big fan of his for a while now, for any of you that want to understand what I mean by legalization, READ HIS STATEMENT :D
This guy is dead right, I wish he was president.
And to Orrin Hatch, you single minded ignorant bastard.. He's so out of touch its not even funny.
Some excellent reading, I highly recommend anyone interested in the drug war debate and legalization/de-criminalization should read this. Lots of great stuff there :D
Thanks Izzy! |

I can't get over how many important people support legalization/de-criminalization, I mean congressmen, police chiefs, celebreties, etc... I mean one of the police chief's was saying how during a police chief convention the speaker started off by saying "there will be no discussion of legalization/de-criminalization" ... I mean they won't even talk about it, what the is wrong with people..
We need open debates, open minds, and especially education and understanding of what is at stake.
I really hope you people who haven't read all those statements, do so and see why its so important that we debate and work towards legalization/de-criminalization. |

ya, kinda makes you wanna be a politician doesnt it? hehe elect thor and izzy to the newly created TA political party!
no but after reading that and seeing those opinions i do feel that there will be a shift in policy sooner than i expected...beforehand i was thinking "thats the way life is and it wont change". happily i was wrong. funny thing is im not into drugs at all just tried shrooms and e once... had a blast but thats it dont think i'll do it agian yet it still shows how much we have to gain by publicly putting the issue on the table. |

Good man Izzy, we need more people like you :) Its something many people don't get, its not like drug users are the only ones pushing for legalization/de-criminalization, but many who don't even do drugs that are fighting for a change....
Its just if you sit anyone down, lay out the facts, they have to see the light... The ones that down are the delusional ones I'm afraid. |

| just like alcohol, if they were to legalize drugs, there would be a period of people taking way too much, harming themselves and other people. if they would just be like europe and started it from the beginning everyone would be ok. they'll never get rids of drugs anyway, the war on drugs will never end, trust me. no matter how much they push it it will just go more underground than it was before. ing government, will they ever learn. |

Trance Control, the fact is drug use won't go up by much just because its legalized. Most people by the age of 21 have decided whether or not to do drugs, so the fact it becomes legal will only lure a small percentage to trying it.
Its the case in other countries that have legalized drugs, and its a common thought by those fighting for legalization/de-criminalization that just because it becomes legal the amount of users is not going to sky rocket. |
