| As I see it, 90% of the bible just says "if you don't praise god he will burn you and your whole family".. I don't believe in all that .. I think religion is something that seperates people from each other...... just my opinion.. |

| Trance Man, please don't make comments if you have not read the christian bible from the book of genesis to revelations. Please don't make generic comments like that if you have not read it. Honestly 90% of the bible is not burn you and stuff. The bible is a blueprint for life. Anyways that is why response to that. |

religion was created by men,in order to scare the people to do something bad.
I don't believe in god,or anything superior, just like I said in that thread about the reason why we are here on earth,we're here by nature's coïncindence,
why would there be a god?just think about it,god creates world, god creates human beings ,those human beings are killing slowly the earth, and some of them each other
the only thing I believe in are people |

| I'm an atheist. I'd write a lot more, but I'm not interested in this thread turning into a warzone (I have other websites I visit for such debates). Suffice it to say that I think everyone should be able to believe in whatever they want, as long as they aren't harming anyone. So, if you want to worship, then by all means do it, just leave those of us who don't alone. We've made up our minds, and you'll never change our views without producing god and allowing us to measure and weigh him, denote his eye and hair color, and have him give us an all expenses paid tour of the afterlife. |

Religions are just a way of starting wars over who has the best invisible friend.
Funny how you can pray to a sociably acceptable invisible friend but as soon as they see you chatting to your own special invisible friends they lock you up! Or you take lots of chemicals and go 'looking' for those special invisible friends they think you are a crackpot as well.
Which brings us back to here, the internet, am I 'chatting' or 'scribing' a passage to people I cant see who are just as invisible as 'God'?
I think I'll subscribe to the theory that everything revolves around me and the 'god' is actually within. After all, when things go to hell and theres no one else around you can hardly blame anyone but yourself. :) |

| Aight, first off, yes I believe in god, I am a greek orthodox christian, was raised one, but am far from old enough to have chosen to stay as one! For those believers in science and evolution n such, think of this, everything needed to start from something, cells split to multiply, but if you trace it back, it all had to start from just one! Sure some people will say 'but god created everything in six days!' well, who's to say that those '6 days' weren't 6 billion years? Time to god, is different from time to us! Just something to think about! Like somebody earlier mentioned, believe in what you'd like as long as you're not hurting yourself or others! Peace. |

Whenever a war takes place over religious differences, know that these people are going against their own religions by killing others! NOBODY'S religion (that I know of) allows you to kill others of different religion! Sure god is 'invisible', but think of him as love. Can you SEE love?
Anyhow, , I think I'll shut up now. |
