Raves VS Clubs and other stuff (pg. 2)

a typical n.am rave is 1000 people in a grungy warehouse, horrible lineup outside, horrible lineup inside(djs) and a light show that my mobile DJ company could outdo! pricey tix, and knowledge that the cops will bust it around 2 am or earlier!
What u have..is pure bliss. I would go to a rave without a doubt! |

i would say Raves for sure
the atmosphere is sooooooooooo much better and the music is usually also better (well, here in norway it is like that)
much more ppl and much more lights
of course much more drugs then and other stuff
anyways

d00d, until you've been to a rave, don't bash it
all the raves i've been to in calgary have been awesome
the lighting rules ass! and the sound is incredible
it's so clear and yet bassy at the same time
the lineup outside ian't bad, and it's expected when you have to get patted down
and the raves here, the linups inside are awesome, much better talent than i get at the clubs most of the time(unless it's a special event)
tix are only pricey if you wait and buy them like the week of the rave
and i've never been to a rave that's been busted up
in fact i think so far this year only one legit rave has been shut down early, and that's cause it was in a residential area, and the neighbors were complaining about the noise
so, right now, i would have to choose the raves, mainly cause of the attitude and the atmosphere... there's no fear of ridicule, or of getting in a fight cause you bumped into some guy(sure you could say that it's because everyone is high) but really, most of the peeps i know rave sober(and that's the truth) |

It's surprising to hear that in most other places it's the
raves that get raided and not really the clubs. Over here it's
the other way around. I've been to about 14 raves over the past
2 years, and not one has ever been raided. In fact, I have never
even heard of a rave being raided here. Clubs on the other hand
get raided every 3-4 months, so it's not really serious either.
Raves here have changed alot over the past couple of years. If you
had asked a couple of years ago, raves would have come out on top,
but now days it seems has though it's all about money. The tickets
cost a massive amount, and the money that's put back into the rave
is worth spit. |

| For me I would say I go where the music is I dont care if it is a RAVE or CLUB I have been to both so I Can say I clubs some and the Raves some times see its a long story and I dont want to get into it so ill just say both are good:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D |

If I want to go, meet some girls, have a great time, i would go to a club
but if i want music, and a great time, i would go to a rave!
in a rave i can dance with total freedom, and if i danced like that in a club, ppl would think im high on something (in raves ppl prolly think that too, but the diference is that they dont care)
But both have they good/bad things.
Also, theres no electronic music club where i live.... |

Me too... i've been to a few raves and been to lots of clubs... and they're different, both have their pros and cons.. |
