that never happened
save one or two pee breaks i was in the booth the whole time max was playing...
you are aware there was 2 cd players? just cause there was no vinyl on the decks for 15 minutes doesnt mean a mix cd was playing.
also, anyone who knows the tracklisting for the shine cd will recall that at no point last night did max play even two of those records back to back... |

What a great night. I hadn't been clubbing in Toronto since right before Xmas! I missed seeing everyone out. Max was on last night! Best Shine set I've heard from him. I also love standing right up front and watching him interact w/ the crowd. Too many shoutouts to give (don't want to forget anyone). I just had a really great night, met some really nice ppl at the club, some ppl that had never been to system before, I also met Kamram and catherine for the fisrt time- Really nice TA's!
All in all a fabulous night- thanks to everyone for helping me enjoy the night :) |

I have to agree with Jon,
That was the best Max Graham set I have heard. Started off with some straight up groovy prog, slipped into a techno furry, eased out with some trance, then Brad and MAx back to back!! I was waiting all night for them to drop Madoka - Altered but left at 5:00am and still didn't hear it:(
Jeff - that track you mentioned in your review is Agent001 - Faukson (Luke Fair Remix) To my knowledge it isn't out yet.
As usualy good to see all the TA's I know out and about. Tara, Matt, Jeff, Stereoprincess, Tatgirl, and saw many more.
As for the "new system".... I don't know, I guess I'll have to wait till it is done but the sound was way off (too much bass) and isn't the dance floor going to be smaller now? The bank machine wasn't working either....
Regardless, still had a wicked night out with Jringer and friends. |

Well, well, well what can I say. It was another amazing night from Brad and Max Graham. I had an awesome time just goofing around the whole night. I just payed for drinking too much the next morning with a horrible headache. Oh well, fun while it lasted.
Nice seeing everyone again, too many to list. Frank, how come I never saw you that night?
All I gotta say at the end is:

I am aware that there were two CDJ's, and only one of them was playing..

I never said it WAS the shine CD, just that as Matt V said.. it was a possibility
Anyhow, this will be my last post regarding this, it's not that important to argue about. |

Great night... what I can remember of it, seems soooo long ago! Nice to hear Max again, he hasn't disappointed me yet. Unfortunately my old bones could only take so much, so I had to cut out a little early, around 3:30 or so, but a great night all around.
Nice to meet a couple new TAs, Highroller and TECHNOaddict. I can't remember which one of you (If either) had the cigar, but that's sweet dude. I thought for sure the security guard was going to take it away. I didn't realize the club was cigar-friendly! This changes everything! :)
Always a pleasure to dance the night away with my favourite people, you know who you are. :D

what can i say..
i came all the way down from sault ste. marie to watch max.. but we got there around 2:30am.. just in time to hear a WICKED remix of airtight ive never heard before.. he played such a sweet set with copeland mixing in some equally great tracks.. im glad it was darker than max's goldclub promo mix cd.. stayed until about 6:30am, but some friends wanted to go, but i didnt want to..
truly awesome, cant wait until i can come down and see them spin again! |
