Believe it or not there exists programs that will crash your machine due to poor coding. No help needed from the user end :p Point taken though, normally xp never crashes. Bad drivers/programs/installs being the rare exception. win98 though... |

| i'd admit it took me a while to warm up to X but now i luv it. I agree files can be deeply nested, there are ways around it like puting shortcuts on top of explorer window. |

Well, is not that XP crases all the time but It has a lot of problems.
Like right now when I have I.E on, and click on a link that opens a new window.. it freezes... so it sucks, I cant' find the problem.
But my friend(IKKI) has a Mac and I 've used it before.. doesn't have problems, good computer, . I like Macs but like I am alrdy used to Windows..oh well!:haha: :stongue: |

when i made the switch from 9 to OSx i was like wtf why would people use this. Now i love this OS 10.3.2 great system. Windows people, get used to it this is what windows Longhorn is modeled after.

well screw all of you linux is just a step ahead.. rofl... but I'd go for windows ove rmac any day.. cuz of compatibility issue and better support on games :p.. and that stupid virtual pc is crap.
Beema is correct cuz I use the same in my school. They got 120 macs all on OSX and still crap. It all depends on your stupid hardware thats for sure. |

Same here, I love my XP. As opposed to the OSX Macs at my school...which crash atleast twice an hour. I know it's not entirely due to the OS (probably 90% caused by the environment they are in & the school's ty network), but nevertheless.
I have yet to see what is so ing brilliant about them, except that they look nice. I can do the exact same thing on a PC as I can on a Mac, only I can do it in half the time. What makes Macs the industry standard in graphic/web design? |

Oh ya and for the record, I use OSX at school for audio engineering. It crashes ALL THE TIME. Wanna know whats fun? Your in the studio with a band at 3 in the morning. your recording and BAMM.....mother****** crashes, no time to save or anything, everything just locks up.
tons of fun, i suggest that everyone trys it. |
