I would think that legalization would make E cheaper.

Since we're (Holland) by far the biggest producer in the world, prices range from 0,45 eurocents (if you buy 1000) to 2,50 euro (single pill on a rave)

Making them legal would only make the prices go up (less supply). Because we have way to much E here, producers have to make better quality just to be able to sell there .

Because it's so cheap and available everywhere, E isn't that interesting anymore. Dutch ravers rather use GHB or coke.

i have never tried ecstasy before... although i've had a few chances.

i usually tell myself that i'd never even try it. but sometimes, i'm just curious to see what it'll be like to be on ecstasy.

a lot of my friends have done it. and from what i have heard from them, i kinda want to try it, but i also have heard a lot of bad side effects.

is it that bad to try it once for the first time just to see what it's like? or is really worth it? if i try once, will i be addicted?

I can honestly tell you that if you try one time, you'll only be addicted if you want to. Ecstasy is even less addictive than marijuana.
The first time you'll try it, you will find it pretty innofensive. In fact, you'll find it so innofensive, you'll be inclined to try a few more.

I can't really say that trying ecstasy is a good thing - unfortunately, i have an extensive experience with ecstasy.

The ecstasy rush is exactly that: a rush. You feel your body, from the feet to the hand fingers, rushing in energy, energy condensed and ready to blow. You feel pretty much like superman in the first few times. Perhaps the most incredible aspect of ecstasy is not that rush or energy you feel, but rather the increment of your feelings.
Everything you feel will be amplified. So if you are in love for someone, you will feel that love 5x. If you are friends with someone, you will almost love that person.
You will experience an added sensibility to the music, everything will revolve around the music (this if you try it in a party or club). The music will feel better, and you will almost guess what's happening before it happens.

The reverse of the coin is the day after and the long term consequences of chronic use.

The day after is a rather unpleaseant experience. There are only 2 things to do: either smoke pot all day to keep awake (yes, it's the ONLY way you can keep awake - besides taking more ecstasy) or sleep for 12+ hours straight. I personally tend to prefer the second option, as it's much more healthy, but most people tend to go for the first.

The long term consequence is the loss of memory. After my chronic abuse, and even now (after 2 years) i feel the effects of memory loss. You tend to forget things quicker and have memory lapses - the same thing when you're high - but permanently (for those who don't know, when you're high on marijuana, you have memory lapses).

So is it worth it? Well, i can tell you i still take ecstasy, although only twice a year. I think taking it twice a year is perfectly safe, with no long term effects.

It's a very good recreational drug, in fact, for me is even better than coke (which is usually considered the king of recreational drugs). The thing which ed me up was the abuse of the drug, taking it chronically for years.
Keep in mind it's a very dangerous drug, so treat it with respect.

Here's a fact sheet :)

Good things when you're high
-amplified emotions
-connection with music and people
-never-ending energy
-you're always calm and relaxed

Bad things when you're high
-increment of heat in your body
-loss of vision (you can't read!)
-dry mouth
-dizzyness
-teeth clenching (not sure this is the right expression, i meant teeth rubbing against each other)

BOTTOM LINE:

Read what i've written and decide for yourself. If you choose to try, MAKE SURE you don't have a weak heart or heart problems, be sure about that before trying.

And what do they do after they made the pills?

They dump everything on a remote location :whip:

If you really want to try it, just go to this place:

Russian Club Selling E in Vending Machine

quote:

St Petersburg drinks machine key suspect in drugs bust

In the course of a routine raid at the city’s Tunnel nightclub, policemen stumbled upon a private party celebrating the birthday of one of the club’s owners. The police were immediately suspicious because of the unusually high number of people on drugs, even for a nightclub.
When asked where they had got the drugs, the party-goers said they had bought them from a Pepsi drinks machine. After several more similar answers the policemen lost their temper and, according to one of the revellers, started beating up some of the patrons.
But even then the same explanation was given, so one of the law enforcers approached the machine and gave it a kick. Much to the amazement of the officers, several ecstasy pills dropped out of the machine. With this, the incident was virtually over. ''At least they stopped beating up the guys,'' one club visitor said. The police arrested 20 people and seized the offending machine. The club was then closed ''for technical reasons''.
Further investigation revealed that drug dealers working in the Tunnel had created a rather clever scheme for trading their wares. When a clubber wanted a “lift”, he paid 350 roubles (about $12) to the dealer and was allowed access to the Pepsi machine, which delivered a pill when he pressed a button. Police experts are working on the machine which has been declared forensic evidence, but say it will be very difficult to prove the dealer’s involvement.

i heard that you can also get sick from overhydration, if you drink too much.

for all you e veterans:

i have a tab of e sitting in my closet, sealed in a near air-tight bag, sitting in a box. i've had it for almost a year, but haven't done it. is it still good?
