Feb 20th- Cinar Onat and Dennis Hahn in the Purple Room

Hey all,
The monthly trance night takes place in the Purple Room at Revolution Nightclub in Waterloo on the 20th of February.. we welcome back Cinar Onat (Dj Fuzion) of BPM Tv who will be laying down some quality trance beats!
As always, I'll be opening the night off proper with my signature sound; don't miss out on this one!

Hey Dennis, are they gonna keep your events going for awhile or are they turning the purple room into just lounge? |

| Yeah unfortunately they're going to renovate the Purple Room entirely and just make it a one room club.. it's really odd the way they're doing it, they're making the club into about half the original size once they renovate. That'll put an end to my night there; oh well, it's been a privilege to be a part of that room! |

what a shame.:( I have wanted to check out this room for some time now, I hope i get to do so before it shuts down. It's too bad this is happening when you are clearly running a sucessful night there. |

Thanks very much guys, I really appreciate the support.
It is a bit of a shame that they're shutting the room down; it'll leave quite a legacy in K-W... but hey, as successful of a night as it's been, it might be time to move on anyway.
Eviltree, my set will start at 10.. it'll go til 11pm and then I'll close the night off after Cinar's set. (1-3)

Could you elaborate on that?? Are they making the club smaller or smthn ?? I'm surprised.. They are usually packed to full capacity in the fall.
And yeah, I'll try to make it out this friday ! |

Hey Dennis,
EricV told me about this plan to close the PR and we agreed that it is a sad decision for quality music in KW.
If any of you have not gone to this night.....you will be missing out to not be there before it closes!!!
Dennis, next time we meet up we should sit and talk opportunities....all the best to you post Purple Room

Basically, they're making everything that was the Purple Room and the Pool Table area into more warehousing space and making the rest the entire club, bathrooms and everything. That's what I've heard, but they've kept us in the dark entirely with what exactly they're doing and when they plan on doing it. (hence the late promoting)
Thanks very much for the well wishes Aaron :) It is a little sad because I love playing the Purple Room; I've made alot of friends there.. but I never really felt that the club believed in the music we were advocating anyway, they were looking for the Purple Room to be a moneymaker, which it is not.
I'm hoping that the Purple Room closing will give other promoters in K-W a chance, there are a few other nights being put on by good people! |
