meneedit,
i thought you were kinda dense with all the things you said of classical and how you just heard ATRC for the first time. but obviously, if someone listens to Squarepusher and knows the complex that Squarepusher is all about it's impossible to be impressed by a track like ATRC, as 'fun' as it is.... :toothless |

hmm, not really. i like trance better than IDM. but there's no denying that this is simply much more complex music, that's beyond the obvious... |

Yes, it is more complex, I just think your implication that Squarepusher is more likely to leave a lasting impression than, say, ATRC due to its complexity is a bit amiss. Although perhaps my elitist comment was unfair; I tend to be wary around IDM fans as they're often extremely snobby. |

btw, I just thought I might add something:
I think it is strange how a lot of people out there bag all of us "leechers"
You probably havent thought of this before but downloading stuff you havent heard before allows you to work out whether you want to buy it or not.
I'll bet there a lot of people out there that are disappointed with some things they bought |

Bought the CD over a year ago so ner :p
edit: Btw, any of you seen Lost In Translation? Recognize the tune that gets played when Scarlett sits in the hotel room window and the camerapans in to give you that immense panoramic view of Tokyo city centre? ;) |
