Hey everyone,

I really want to go to England for a year abroad, and my choices are: London and UCL or University of Sussex and Brighton.
I would def. say London, but I've heard some nice things about Brighton. What do you guys think?

Thanks
Ste
Definately go to Brighton- you can easily visit London from there but you won't have to live in that polluted -hole. UCL is a good Uni but it's right in the centre so where would you be able to afford to live? Brighton is brilliant but Sussex Uni is a bit further out from the centre of Brighton (you'd have to get a bus into town).

London, London :D

UCL is one of the best Uni's in the country, what are you studying? London living costs aren't that high for students, as uni's will sort that out. And of course you're near some top quality clubs as well :D

to be fair lam, you live at home so how really would you know. Plus, uni doesn't pay, it has to come out of a loan, and if they do pay, yer its prolly about double the cost so you are still left skinted.

As for clubs, i reckon you'd get more per square mile in the way of bars and clubs in brighton. got mates that live there and they fekkin love it

i thought everyone paid 65-75 pounds a week rent, wherever they were? thats the case here :conf:

and on top of that you've got food and stuff as well, but if they're an overseas student, i would think they have the financial backing to live anywhere...

no ing way!! 65 is extautionate (prolly wrong spelling)

average in sheff is between 40 and 50 and 50 is probably a bit expensive.

if u paid 65, you would be expecting dishwashers, en suite, huge rooms the size of a normal persons entire ground floor... conservatory and on and on
