| Whats the best program to create webpages?? I wanna create a webpage and im trying to find the best program to do so...what is your choice? |

ya, frontpage is simple...recommended if u don't know squat (like me :D)
...but u can even use word to make html!!! :):):) |

i like to use CuteHTML
it's easy and simple
for the pics and shiat, i use a combination of ACDSee, and Paintshop Pro
for the buttons i use Ulead Cool 3D

Front Page is easy to use , i would recommend it
But if you are professional , try Dreamweaver 4 |

If you have a slow computer (PII-450 or less) i'd suggest staying with DreamWeaver 3..... Dreamweaver 4 has some nifty new features but nothing really worthy of the upgrade - and it takes more memory to run/is slower..
I stick with using 3 - although it creates really DIRTY HTML so if you plan on doing any thing serious edit the code afterwards by hand. |

Well, it's always handy to have an image editor, and every1 agrees that either PSP or Photoshop are the 1s to use.
In HTML editing there are more posibilities. There's the well-known Front-Page (with that F-P express for real lame so-called web designers!), or the Netscape Composer (comes in the Comunicator kit) for home use. Also that Dreamweaver (thoughy it'll take time until U realy get to use it at web pages.. first U have to translate it!- but it's worth it:cool:).
But one advice: always, after the page has been completed, first check it out both in Explorer and Netscape (4 compability), and then re-edit the html code, because some programs get it crappy (^^^^^^^ Swamper said it too about Dreamweaver).
Or U can just learn html code, cause in the end all the programs just help U in the design, but they do the same thing - ease the html code writing process.
Remember: always check Ur page AT LEAST in Explorer and Netscape! |

I remember back in the day when I had a webpage..I taught myself basic HTML..hmm that remnds me..lets go find this page!!!

i hate frontpage express!!!!
ive been using mspub for mine...ive been using this program for years...upgrade after upgrade...its a great program...i like it cuz its multi purpose... |

Front Page 2000 is good to maike tabels and stuff! bot to code asp i use UltraEDIT ;) |

Whatever you do, DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT get FrontPage. I don't care how simple it may seem or look, that program is a worthless piece of Microsoft CRAP!
My recommendations:
Dreamweaver is right now, my program of choice. At times I go ahead and use Adobe GoLive, but Macromedia Dreamweaver is a very useful program. Also from Macromedia, I would recommend Flash.
