confused about heaven...

right folks,
while watching the simpsons earlier (episode where maud flanders dies)
so what is heaven: a perfect place where you're surrounded my everybody u love and all that ?
what if: you're married to a woman all your life and she's shaggin half the town and just usin u for your money?? Then when ur in heaven, she's still livin the good life and shaggin everybody(in heaven). How will this be heaven for you??
Or: when u get to heaven, u realise that ur wife's been usin u all ur life, and she didn't even make it into heaven?
How the is this eternal happieness??

IMO everyone if they quality should have their own heaven...whatever you like to do you can do all day long and as much of it as you want.
Then again, there's no way to tell what heaven's like and if there even is one. So it's really not worth even worrying about. |

lmfao, that's what comes to mind.
The idea of a true biblical heaven is arbitrary. Heaven and Hell were invented to scare ignorant people away from sin and sheppard them into the church. It's all bull, Davey. No one is going to sit in a cloud with Jesus, not without some good drugs anyways. ;) |

Heaven and hell are both symbolic. The choices you make in life right now dictate whether you live in heaven or in hell. Heaven (or hell) is now.
Examples:
You choose to sleep around - you get STDs - this is hell.
You choose to be selective (ex. get married first) - 100% safe sex - this is heaven.
Crappy examples, but yeah...
btw this is not to say there is no life after death. |

That's a bit more like action-reaction. You're not 100% guaranteed to get an STD from sleeping around, and who's to say that your wife hasn't been sleeping around and drops the clap on you in a Jamaican Honeymoon? That's hell. ;) |

Yeah, I'm sure most guys would say only having sex with one girl for their whole life is not heaven...maybe if the girl's extremely hot. |
