thats brutal. ironic that he is wearing a dale earnhardt shirt.
wierd though I met this girl that will never wear one because her dad has been in two accidents without his seatbelt and it helped him survive....

| A seatbelt saved my life once. So yeah, definatley wear them. |

we were once going to a game in two minivans and the van in front of us, coming from around a curve, crashed right into a stationary car.. like 40 mph hit.
we were able to slow down. no one got hurt, but the firemen said they were lucky to have worn their seatbelts. since then i always wear mine and i refuse to ride without wearing it.

hes alive, but one reason why he got into an accident is cuz he fell asleep at the wheel for a few seconds

I never wear a seatbelt.
My best friend was in the back of a SUV type thing (wasn't exactly an SUV but wasn't a truck) when the driver lost control and they slammed into a tree. The exact spot where she was sitting was the part of the car that slammed against the tree. Due to the fact that she wasn't wearing a seatbelt, she got away with only a broken pelvis and a few cuts. Had she worn a seatbelt, she would have been paralyzed for the rest of her life, or worse, dead.
There are a million arguments to wear a seatbelt and not to. |

There are some situations were wearing a seatbelt is better and some where it can make it worse. That's just the chance you take. But typically they will help you more than had you not been wearing one.
I know alot of girls who won't wear them because they find them uncomfortable. |
