I've never really enjoyed Markus' work. The remixes of Jewel etc. To be a great such as Ferry,AVB, PVD, gotta get out and play the big parties. I m not saying Markus' work isn't great, just not my flavor.

I agree with Mr. Mystery, I've never survived his sets for more than 20 minutes :stongue:

i dunno about putting markus in the same boat as pvd and ferry. His style is just different compared too them. But i really cant stand pvd lately and ferry . . ..well ferry ownz!

Most of his sets are of more interest thats for sure. His Oceanlab remix is by far the best to.
Agree???
Lets hope we get more of him playing here in the UK. I know his down to play at GK next week.

i find him a bore.

i would much rather see someone like pvd or ferry and i dont really care for either.

he has been the epitome of internet hyping, wow its soooo cool to like markuz schulz.

pr0g rulz.

I'll be sure to go see him next time i'm in need of a good nights sleep :)

i think he's too bashed on here unfairly, it's the same kinda thing with armin where the radio shows atracts many lame fans, of which the 'cool' people like to stay away from

excellent track-selection, mixing is not perfect but very good, he may miss a bit of energy but what was the last time we heard a mix of him that wasn't for an internet radio? i bet his mixes in front of a crowd are more banging. personally when listening at home i prefer a good track-selection than an energetic set with occasional bad tracks, so i like schulz a lot. would probably go more crazy in a dancefloor with pvd or ferry, but at home i surely prefer him.

Call me a Schulz fan. I expect big things out of him for 2004, this should be his year to shine.

I would like to see Markus vs. Infusion.

I would say Markus is too recently a name to be ranked yet.
silencedmusic
give it a year or two then ask this question again and i might just agree
