Ferry Corsten last night in San Francisco

All I can say is ING INCREDIBLE.

Seen him 8 times and by far his best set ever. He played ton of tracks I could not ID and busted out crazy techno at around 160bpm for awhile. He was scheduled to play three hours but played for four because he was having a ton of fun.

His whole set was rather unique for him and I hope he keeps on playing these types of sets...it was insanity.

He kept 1015 pretty damn full and if he wanted he could have kept it full for quite a bit long, me thinks.

Holy man...his set was incredible. i stayed there til the very end, even after his 2 encore songs. The club was packed beyond belief. It was such a great night. Definitely one of my most memorable by far. It was cool meeting you Dave. Ferry Corsten is one of the nicest people ever. He signed like a million autographs and not once did he appear to be annoyed with that. His mixing was perfect. Anyone got pix?

Good meeting ya curly....if I wasn't so into the set, I would have come down and talked a bit.

Ferry is always cool about signing autographs. He thought the crowd was insane and he was having an awesome time.

Can't wait until he comes back again.

All I have to say is WOW. Last night was my first time at 1015 and first time seeing Ferry live. Ferry even signed something for me and shook my hand. That set was out of control and Ferry had so much energy and had the crowd out of their mind all night. Hearing punk and singing it with everyone and then hearing his edit of rock your body rock right after was amazing. I can't wait to see him again. :eyes:

Hey and Dave were you the one up top next to the dj booth taking pics?? If so I'd die to see some of them...I might be in some because I was at the right corner of the dj booth all night....
DaveT
Yeah, I got some pics. I am usually like Mr. Picture crazy man but my dumb self forgot to recharge the batteries in my camera and didn't realize it until I was already at the club....so I had to be careful on how many pics I took and space it throughout the night.

I am waiting for a friend to host them on his site.

Sick....can't wait to see them

Yeah I thought that was you up there but wasn't sure...I was going to say whats up but we ended up leaving around 4:30...damn I've been to a lot of clubs and parties and I must say 1015 is the best club I've been to and Ferry completely wrecked shop and I kept looking back at the crowd and everyone was on fire, it was great. Can't wait for Armin and Markus in April!

Also hearing his remix of bt - forces of gravity totally made my night...........btw what track did Ferry end with?
Jaly
buddy of mine went there last night, he said it was unbelievable. Wish I had gone...

Cheers

I am pretty sure it was System F - Solstice. I am 100% sure it was a System F vinyl he was playing.

last time i was at 1015, i was minutely disappointed at the performances, but yesterday with Ferry, it was absolute magic. The entire 4 hours or so were tearing it apart, whereas the bass was ripping us open. WHAT A SET!! I am so fortunate to have gone and seen Corsten live, and in such great form. I LOVED IT!!!

I must admit I was impressed by Gianni's opening set...incredible track selection and great mixing....not sure of the tracklist but I know I heard Perfect Wave and a breaks version of Born Slippy just to name a couple....deffinitely an awesome set :D
DaveT
OK, some pictures are available here.

Not that many from me as my batteries were low all night...and damn, talk about compression hell by my friend who is hosting them. I believe he said more (and probably better) pics will be going up as they come from other peeps he knows.
