Holy crap I remember In Living Color, I'm talking about the comedy show though, don't know if there was ever a musical group by the same name, or if the show ever released a CD.
I think the first tape I got was from back when we were living in Mexico City. It's a tape of this dude singing a bunch of math stuff like addition and subtraction and multiplication tables, with some synthesized music in the background. I must have been around 3-4 years old then.
My first CD was "Music for the Jilted Generation" by The Prodigy. Damn that CD rocks, I still listen to it today and I still love it. |

Tape: ZZ Top - AfterBurner (though I got the Ghostbusters soundtrack a year before for xmas)
CD: Europe - The Final Countdown
It was 1985. I still have that cd...don't know what heppened to the tapes though.

EDIT: First Album I ever bought was: Superman and other songs Discoized by the Dr. X band. It was like 1983 it had the Star Wars Theme, the Close Encounters song Superman Theme and a few other movie songs done to a disco beat. God I wish I could find that record lol. |
