I remember reading something about Canadians who were smoking the medical weed from the government said it wasn't good at all. |

Corrections:
In the article it says cocaine is a Schedule I drug. It is a schedule II drug--it does have legitimate medical uses.
Also, the US government grows pot at the University of Missippi...I thought every pot loving individual would know that ;) FYI, marijuana is a Schedule I drug. I think someone was smoking the confiscated crack stash when they came up with that classification. |

dont be ridiculous
coke will be legalized way before X ever comes close (and coke will never be legalized, atleast in G8 nations).
and it wont be lagalized for one simple reason: safety
E is a chemical drug, unlike naturally occuring drugs like weed, coke, heroin, etc. it is completely chemical and manufactured in laboratories. therefore taking this drug, even once, can and does disrupt the delicate chemical balance in your brain
Im not saying E s up everyone, in fact most people are fine after dosing. however ODing is very easy to do since its easily injestible, and usually taken in claustrophobic, hot, environments with loud music and intense visuals.
Ive seen a kid die on the dance floor on E from overheating. He went into a violent seizure and paramedics rushed him out. He turned out to be dead. My friend knew him and he took 5 pills
legalized E would no doubt result in a lot of dead kids since it really is a dangerous drug. mentally and physically. and yes I know alcohol kills people everyday, but 99 out of 100 times its indirect. Such as drunk driving. Rarely do people die from overdrinking, since its hard to do because of how hard it is on your stomach to get that much down. If you pop 5 pills at once, you dont even taste it. Hell you could pop 100 pills before feeling any effects.
E would be horrible for legalization - this psychiatry thing is a whole other story. |

I'd stake my life on the fact that there was a healthy dosage of methamphetamine in those pills.

I hear this all of the time and it always makes me laugh. What difference does it make whether or not it's naturally occurring? You can have whatever hippy ideologies you want, but as far as your brain is concerned it's just another substance with a chemical effect to up your brain; it makes no difference at the cerebral level whether you picked that substance from a field or processed it in a lab. Arsenic is perfectly naturally occurring too, doesn't mean it's better for you than aspirin which is not. Please note that I'm not saying E is better for you than weed or whatever, just that the argument itself is ridiculous and any biochem undergrad will tell you so. |
