I'm a DJ who has recently moved to this great city for school. I would like to start performing here and doing gigs, but I have run into a brick wall, since I know no one who is into the club scene here. I was recently talking to a friend who used to be into the scene here and she suggested starting a night somewhere. I think this is a great idea, and could be a good way to promote myself, as well as its a very fun thing to do. I have thrown a couple of events before and as so have some experience with it. However I dont know this city at all, I don't even know any other DJs.
What I was thinking was that if we could get a few DJs from Tranceaddict together we could start throwing some really good parties. I personally spin a mix of genres with an emphasis on progressive house and progressive breaks, I do however also spin trance.
Anyways anyone who would be interested in trying this please post here and we'll see if we can get enough people together to do something.

| the toronto forum has organized quite a few events with TA DJs only...they have gone over really well! I hope it does for you guys too. |

alright, well its good to see I have some interest already. I guess the thing to do is leave this thread in a couple of days and then with however many people are in we'll go from there.
One thing that I think is funny is that all three of the people who have posted so far on TRANCEaddict, spin things other then trance :)
Hopefully we can achieve the same kind of success as the Toronto TA's! |

i dont recall any montreal Ta dj's who spin trance

Jpx=electro,techno,tastes of house
me=tech/techno/tech house and some prog
lemeir=house
Preach;) =mostly techno but ive heard hiim play prog
zing=i think mostly techno,house
ohh and i forget
we do have one montreal Ta who still spins trance
