from what i heard, the only reason they put suspension on him was because a CALLER had said the N word. Stern disconnected the call, but still got punished with "indecent material" on the air. BS
i've heard worse on LoveLine. If i remember correctly, Adam Corolla insisted listeners to brutalize the handicap. still funny, but c'mon |

I strongly disagree. I think that Americans and just society in general (in other countries as well) have just gone to . It’s like anything goes these days and no one gives a crap. I’m sorry, but if I had a 10 year old son who was watching the Superbowl and saw Justin Timberlake rip off Janet’s top to expose her tit w/ a pastey on her nipple, I’d be pissed. And all the attention whoring stars like Madonna, Christina and Britney kissing on stage on a show that young girls watch is disgraceful too. Then they think it’s cool, and the next thing you know, your daughter is on the cover of “Girls Gone Wild”. Trust me, your views will change as an adult with kids. The entertainment world should be a bit more considerate and discrete. And as far as Howard Stern goes, yea, his show is entertaining SOMEtimes...but he is the epitome of human scum. He exploits mentally handicapped people and has these stupid whores on his shows to talk about masterbation and sex and every single taboo topic you can think of. No body has any morals anymore including Howard Stern. He’s a stupid, ugly, scrawny fcuking tool who got lucky in showbiz.
my 2 cents:tongue2 |
NEWS FLASH: Your 10 year old son has probably already been looking at porno mags his friend found in the back of his dads closet, if he hasn't already found it on the internet. I know I, and all my friends at that age, already knew just about everything there was to know about sex (and I'm not talking about biology here)
You can't bother trying to shelter kids because they're going to see it anyways, no matter what you do. You'll just end up ing them up for life because you've tried to use security through obscurity, while he was out seeing it in the rest of the world.
I still can't ing beleive so many people are worked up about a little flash of tit. Get over yourselves, America. |

I think you make or society crap. Stop bitching about stupid crap and look the other way if you don't like it. Some of us enjoy Howard Stern, Southpark, ect. Whining vaginas like you will ruin it for all of us. |
the funny thing about that statement is you dont realize how blatently ignorant it was.
you bash her for expressing her opinion, yet you get mad when people try to quash the things you like? think about that for awhile.
given, your statement; as rude and pathetically immature as it was, is "your opinion". i technically should respect that. but i dont because youre being a twat. learn some respect. "your society" is based upon the work of free thinking. it may not seem that way now but every close-minded thug like yourself keeps putting that distance between what it was and what its turning into. so if you like watching your howard stern and your southpark i suggest you respect the ideals and ideas of others, or someone might treat you with said disregard for liberty and take what you like away from you.
i hope you learned something,

Bush is an idiot.
He knows he can't win the election, so he's gotta do something to try and revive his political career as president. |

well all you are saying is that just because it happens, it's OK. look, i am the LAST person on this earth who is going to be one of those naive mothers if i have kids. my parents always kept it real with me, and i will be the same with mine. when i lost my virginity, i went straight to my mom to get on birth control because she stressed the importance of being safe when i was ready, etc. and i felt comfortable enough to tell her. i'm just talking about the quality of people these days. i'm a bit old fashioned so sue me. i also happen to think that the education system (grade school - high school) should be same sex. high school isn't a place for education any more, it's a goddamn social life and kids are getting murdered and raped at such young ages. it makes me sick to my stomach to watch the news. it makes me want to raise my kid on a friggin island...the coolest, most intelligent people i know (not just book smart, but people with high emotional IQs as well) went to boarding schools in other countries and were well traveled as young adults.
of course not everyone can afford that, but something can certainly be done to help middle class people feel better about sending their kids to public school. they already passed laws here in florida for public schools that all the kids have to wear uniforms. i think it's great. that way, the poor kids who can't afford designer clothes won't get labeled and all that bullcrap. little steps like these can hopefully make a big change in the long run.
by the way, thanks jinxed84...:D |

I don't agree about seperate sex schools. Everyone's a human being, I don't see why segregating gender is good for kids. The reason why kids are being murdered and raped is simply because the American school system is a ing joke. The teachers don't care, the classes are packed, and on top of it parents aren't teaching their kids simple morals. The reason your friends who went to boarding school have their heads on straight isn't because they were separated from the opposite sex, its because their parents were paying good money to put them in a private school with small classes and intelligent teachers.
Btw I don't see why school uniforms would make any difference. I think its a horrible idea, forcing kids to wear them. If you haven't rased your child to ignore taunts and labels then you've failed as a parent in the first place. Why should kids be forced to wear something they don't want to wear so a few kids with low self esteem and no-name clothes won't have to put up with being labeled? FYI, those kids are gonna get taunted and picked on no matter what they're wearing.
It's all just part of public school conditioning, to prepare a child to be another brick in the wall, pretty much. |

Howard Stern 4 President!
no, j/k. But lets be serious. Any1 tuning into the Howard Stern show should be old enough to accept the fact that its all a "show" and its a joke! Come on. If u have little kids that are listening to this then thats strictly on the parents. I'm sick of hearing how its so & so's fault for this & that happening, but the question remains "Where are the parents?". Okay, the Super Bowl thing was kinda out of context because anyone could be watching that, but Stern? He's been doing outrageous sh!t for years and now all of a sudden its a bad thing & now he's gone past the limit. Fox & these reality tv shows have gone over the limit for quite some time. I just think the parents should be more in tuned to what their kids are doing & actually do some parenting for once! |

| I don’t know how this will go with so many Clear Channel haters, but CC only owns 6 stations that even run Stern and those stations are in low markets. This is more of a PR move by CC then anything else. Personally I feel that that Stern’s show shouldn’t be on the time slot that it’s in, his show is more setup to the late night show when young children are asleep, but that’s probably the conservative bible carrying little old me talking. |

well, if you think about it, its people like him/her that closed space in miami, or took howard off the air. maybe if you didn't put words in my mouth i would sound less ignorant. I never said free thinking was bad, but if you want to take howard stern off the air because YOU don't like it then thats bs.
If you actually read the posts, you would know the only one that said the freedom to choose was bad slylee. and i choose to believe that attitude is crap |
