| see that's not the main issue as of now. Tho using my brother's pc is nice...fully loaded 2ghz with tons of ram. Nah the processor is having power problems. It is too weak to boot up windows right now, that's the first problem, I'll fix the trojan horse problem after that. HEHEHEHHEHE....thanks drew |

| ah mint, the file is just a virus that makes itself look like an important ms-dos file and running a pc in safe mode and running a trojan hunter should get rid of it. Now back to step one, fixing the pc itself. |

| I think your mistaken , you probabily mean the Boot Sector, if you wanna remove anything from here you have to run Fdisk /MBR , and this wipes anthing from your Boot Sector, A trojan horse is 99.9% a 32 Win APP 32 Executable that requires windows to run, look for magic bullet boot disk, its a boot disk you can boot from that removes anything in the master boot record, you can always clear the CMOS by messing with the Jumper settings on your PC, if you need magic bullet boot disk pm me and ill try and send you it. |

fdisk /mbr is very dangerous, this will wipe out everything so make sure you have everything archived
i gave up with windows along time ago
my recommendations andy... is to always archive your stuff, so that when your computer does get ed, you can just reformat and install a fresh OS
ARCHIVE IS KEY! |
