| hehe I had one of these calls. Only slightly different situation. It was 3 months later, and I get a call. I just kept repeating how "kind" of her it was to call me, and "Wow, i didnt think youd ever call" and then I just talked about boring stuff and then said I had to go. No more calls :D |

that. You dont get out of it and youll probably end up paying for the damn coffee. Quit being a tool. |
LOL Well put!!! Glad to see guys with pride!, Damn straight be a man!
All girls (except one for me-the mature one) do the whole check up on you after a year or so. Either directly or through the "girls network", faster and more detailed than the internet!! (although less accurate).
To me its to qwell their insecurties than you, the question if you've upgraded and found a better looking girl.
My advice, it didn't work in the first place and left you for another guy. F$@K that S#!^, tell her no and let her insecurites devour her and upgrade to a better girl in the meantime.
She left you for dead so why not extend the same courtesy?!
Be a man damn it!!!

So I guess in summary:
If you're doing well, changed for the better. ie. carreer, school, girl, money, etc. then it's alright to show up. She'll look like a looser for dumping you. You'll walk with an advatage.
If you happen to succumb to life's tough hand. i.e. McJob, dropped-out, broke, unemployed, idling or lost. Than it's better not to show up. You'll still have the advantage by being a man of mystery :toothless |

My Ex, who found a new lover, out of nowhere calls me (its been about a year since we last talks) and asks how i am doing and stuff. And now she wants to meet up with me and see me in person and see how things are going...
I dont know if i should, i still love her, i stil miss her and she has a new lover who she has been dating for about 4 months now....I dont know why she just called me out of the blue, it seemed to good to be true....
Quite honestly, i was more shocked than happy when she called me, i was like why the is she playing with my mind again..i hate these games....
what should i do? should i meet up with her or no? and why does she want to meet up with me..after all these years of no communicatin? it seems a little odd |
Don't do it buddy. My first gf and I had a bad breakup after what I thought was a great 2 year relationship. I hated her. 8 months later, she emails me, wants to talk, "just be friends". Sure i say, so we talk. Then my current gf finds out i had been talking to her, then i found out from other sources that my ex had broken up with her bf and had told people she wanted to get back together with me. I haven't talked to her since. ex's are bad blood. |

is she still with that new bf. if yes, don't go, all its gonna do is drive you nuts. if no, then think about this. do you seriously wanna be with her again AND is that gonna work out (you didn't broke up for no reason) only go if you think that everything is gonna be fine again
(for some reason i think you allready know the answers deep inside) |

I thought this would be a good time to quote Ronin:
