| He may or may not stay with the Lakers. If he doesn't re-sign with them, look for him to be with the Nuggets next year. |

Yeah, I read about him going to Denver too. But I thought I saw something about him getting traded to the Magic for T-Mac before that happens. Who knows :D

At the end of this season he has the option of becoming a free agent, if he doesnt excercise it he stays with the lakers for 2 more years. From whats been said in the papers and online, he's probably gone unless jackson goes and shaq doesnt get an extension, and even thats iffy.
Also the t-mac rumor is totally bogus, they wouldnt even consider doing it unless kobe assured them he wouldnt opt out. Also I read that there owner is very religous and might not do it just because kobe cheated on his wife =/
I can't possibly see him end up in denver either, though they are one of the few teams who can give him the type of money he's probably looking for. |

He will rejoin the Laker legend, Jerry West, in Memphis.
How the hell is Memphis so good this year. They won like 20 games last year. |

My guess is Kobe won't want to stay in LA. In the next few years LA will go into 'rebuilding' mode with Payton & Malone retiring and Shaq getting on. Also there has always been a large amount of tension between Shaq & Kobe.
Anyway thays my prediction, we'll have to wait and see what happens. |

| The Nuggets, Suns, Clippers, Jazz, and probably the Hawks are the only other ones besides the Lakers who could offer a huge contract to Kobe. My guess is the Clippers since he's got a good relationship with their coach Mike Dunleavy, Kobe wouldn't have to move his family, and they aren't rebuilding like most of the other teams that can offer him a big contract. |

The Clippers are the favourite atm to sign Kobe.
If he's around to play that is. I dont think he'd be too popular in Denver!! |

| Actually, the Knicks are the favorites right now to sign him because New York is such a large market. The chances are almost nil that he will be back in LA. |

| I could see him going to the Knicks but he wouldn't be the "man" on that team with Marbury still there. It's been said many times that if Kobe leaves he's looking to be the focus of whichever team he goes to. |

| The Knicks are over the cap so they can offer him only the midlevel exception, so unless they work a sign and trade with LA(not happening) he's not going to NYC, as hes not gonna play for 5 mil a season. If he leaves the lakers another possible destination is the suns(They have money, a good young team, and he has connections with there coach). |

Well so he should be. If kobe is given a team to lead then he will be by far the best player in the league. |
