| Good genres never die. Sure, everything hits a rut now and then, but everything is eventually resurrected in one form or another. I agree that uplifting trance and progressive have both been in a solid slump for quite a while, but that doesn't mean the styles are necessarily over and done. It just means that the next "big thing" to hit either scene is going to be exceptionally "big". |

Come on now, it's not dead because people still listen to it, myself included. I love trance and will always love it. Just because I don't really listen to prog mean I have to come on here or some other message board to say it's crap or dead. Listen to what it is you listen to and go about your business... |

This thread really is quite pathetic, and the sad part about it is that about 95% of the people who have responded to it aren't making it any better. You can't blame this on the thread's author being an American, either. You're all just as lame for engaging in such a petty argument.
