OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES: (subject to change)

This contest, "Guess what I got" is mostly for entertainment (probably more mine than yours ;) ) but the prize will be awarded. Prize is 1 (one) M-Audio gizmo (I will provide that info when I get home from work). I only got one, only one winner will be chosen.

No substitutions, cash, exchanges, etc - if you don't want it, I'll keep it. The prize is brand new, legaly acquired, sealed and in the box in presentable condition. I make no warranties to product's functionality. If it doesn't work or breaks something once you get it, or gets trashed in shipping - sorry mate, not my problem. I REPEAT: I MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPLICIT OR IMPLIED THAT THE PRIZE COULD BE USABLE, FUNCTIONING, OR EVEN INTACT. FURTHERMORE, I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU CAN'T USE IT OR IF IT BREAKS SOMETHING WHEN YOU DO USE IT OR IF YOUR KITTEN CHOKES ON IT - LIKE I SAID, I'M DOING IT FOR FUN ONLY, IF YOU ARE CONCERNED THAT THIS MAY BE A RISK, YOU DON'T HAVE TO PARTICIPATE.

Good guy that I am, I will pay for the shipping, carrier of my choosing and SHIP IT FREE ONLY IN CONTINENTAL US (that means at my own expense only in USA). If you live overseas and want it shipped - you pay the shipping charge minus $5.00 US. So, if you live in Banglapur, India and it costs me $35.00 to ship it, your shipping charge will be $30 - if you want it. In that case, you'll have to send the actual shipping charge before I ship it. Just to give you an idea, it will probably cost about $10 to ship it to UK. Insurance is extra, customs (if any) are your own responsibility. So, keep that in mind.

How it's going to work:
1. Whoever provides the right answer first (See important update below) - wins the prize. I will check the time of your post and pick the first person with the right answer. IMPORTANT: ONCE YOU PROVIDE THE ANSWER, YOU CANNOT MODIFY YOUR POST. IF YOUR POST WILL SHOW UP AS EDITED, YOUR ANSWER WILL NOT COUNT. LET'S PLAY FAIR KIDS. (again, see the update below)

2. The right answer has to be complete, partial answers will not be accepted. (see the update below)

3. I reserve the right to comment or not (whichever way I choose) - no comments will be made through PM.

4. I reserve the right to provide additional clues. Interpret the clues whichever way you think - they are clues, not concrete statements. I am not responsible for your (mis)interpretation of the clues. ;)

5. Prize is null and void if there are no correct answers by the time the contest is over. Keep in mind that end date of contest may change with no notice.

6. You may post your guess as many times as you like, however, once your guest is posted it cannot be edited, otherwise it's disqualified. (See the update below) If you post the same answer twice, but edited one of them, that one will be disqualified. So, if someone posted the right answer before you - you did not win.

7. I may choose to end the contest early, if there are more than 5 correct responses - as that would be pointless to keep people guessing the same thing over and over.

These rules are subject to change without prior notice. Winner will be announced at the end. Winner must provide valid shipping address (and pay for any extra shipping charges - such as overseas shipping, insurance, etc. But if you are in continental US - the shipping is on me).

If you don't want the prize - you don't have to take it, I will award it to the next potential winner. If I can't contact you or don't hear from you within 3 days of contest end, you forfeit your prize and it goes to the next elligible winner. If none of the elligible winners are available or noone takes the prize, I will keep it myself.

WHEF,, see? that was easy.

Let's play fair and to avoid this problem going forward, here is an update to the rules:

1. One guess (COMPLETE) per post. Limit 3 guesses per person per day with no more than 1 listing per gues. So, for example if you wanted to guess "Sony Monitor 17" Model 123xyz and Sony Monitor 19" Model 983abc" in the same post, it would be automatically disqualified. Exceeding maximum allowed number of guesses per day will disqualify ALL of your answers for that day.

2. At the end of the contest, I will post all elligible entrants who posted the answer and let the forum vote who is the winner, based on:
A. Completeness and Accuracy of the answer
B. Compliance to the rules
C. Timing

I found it and it's out of this world! Man, I tell you - it's rather rare and definitely not for the faint of heart. Many have tried to appreciate it but failed - they did not want to be kept occupied for a better part of the life with it. I say "if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen". But I can and I also know that it will hit me so hard, I'll be seeing stars and may even have ringing in my ears - that's how much I love it.

Did that help too make things clearer?
